Delsin
The winds of the open air blew across my face, pinching the tensed muscles. I looked up, seeing my knuckles turning white from gripping the crumbling concrete. I looked down, my eyes met with a familiar face. Reggie?

"Delsin," he pleaded, "You have to let me go." I saw the black concrete crawling up his calves, engulfing his legs. His weight added as it caged his waist, making it unbearable to hold him. I still held onto him for his dear life.

"No, I can-I can save us both." I grunted through my teeth. We dangled over the roaring icy waters below.

He looked at me and opened his mouth, "Delsin!" It wasn't his voice. What the hell? "Delsin, wake up!"

My eyes flashed open and I immediately sat up, gasping for air. It was still dark in my small room. I looked to see Betty by my bed. The light from the open door illuminated her face. She didn't have her usual cheery expression. Her eyebrows were turned up, showing the creases on her forehead, and her puckered mouth was stretched into a frown. What was going on? Why is she like this? "Bett-"

"No time for that," she interrupted, "Get up, now. You won't believe what the police found."
