A wisp of smoke from his cigarette snaked towards her. It provoked and fueled her, dancing seductively. Its fluid movements enticed. She closed her eyes and drew it into her with warm breath. The smooth flavour travelled down to her throat and it felt cool like menthol, glowing pale blue. Down it snaked and it chilled her. Down, down, and down it oozed to her stomach, swirling inside her belly. The smoke made her tingle. Slowly it settled lazily like a beast to sleep, snug inside her. Her eyelids fluttered open sleepily and she met with his eyes. She peered into his two blue depths and she saw that the smoke nested inside him too. He was the one who chilled her fire and tamed the raw spirit beneath her skin. He ran deeper than words and he ran deeper inside her than her conscious sense of right and wrong. He had touched her tender core, he courses through her every vein, and he had slashed her control to broken pieces. He completed her in a way others would not understand, but always left her feeling so dirty. He was the monster within, so deadly and yet so beautiful. She yearned to embrace the darkness within and her sensible brain was fighting a losing battle... she was drowning in him.
He resembled a surreal sinister dream, born from hallucinogen-induced sleep. Frozen and dazed, her mind chewed on the sensations surging up to her head. Electricity charged excitedly through her bones and she trembled with the power inside her. He had made her shine! But he himself was tainted and impure. She had lost herself in a twisted mirror and he was her reflection. Unseen light basked her and made blurred vision clear. The walls around her began to soften and bend, and she suspected her dream would soon collapse. Reality was approaching, and she felt painfully numb. It would rip her from her fantasy and scold her for her childish lust. Reality disliked him for what he was and Reality wanted her to remember who she herself was. But she needed him. She craved for him to shimmer her with his delicious dark light and make her feel new. Restraint and temptation wrestled inside of her and how she longed to pull him into herself and let everything else fall apart. But that would never happen, she was too strong to know soft surrender.
So when light falls and the night sedates her, she retreats to a sanctuary where she can pretend they fit together delicately like a fairytale romance.
