A/N: Here's a short one – shot just to compensate for not posting any chapters recently. It didn't exactly go the way that I planned but hey I'm happy if you guys like it.

Draco Malfoy was bored. Around him students from third year and up were dashing in and out of Hogsmeade stores attempting to buy as much stuff as their money and meagre time afforded. Why he had decided to sign up for Hogsmeade Supervision was beyond his knowledge. He strolled down the main street, peering into shops, searching for any troublemakers. A look into Honeydukes brought a slight smile in his lips. Memories of a third year Draco gasping at the wide selection of candy played quickly through his mind. He coughed quietly then started down the street again.
In front of the Three Broomsticks stood a figure, dressed from head to toe in black. Against the snow – covered ground, Draco wondered why he hadn't noticed the figure before. He narrowed his eyes slightly. The public were well warned on Hogwart visits to Hogsmeade. Most people avoided coming to Hogsmeade during visiting times. All except for this figure.
Curiosity creeping into his mind, Draco walked to the figure tapping lightly on the shoulder. The figure gave a startled jolt before turning around. The first thing Draco noticed about the lady – the figure was a lady – was her eyes. She had brown eyes that seemed to flicker between chocolate brown and caramel. Chocolate brown then caramel. Something about the lady triggered a memory. A memory that wasn't clear. Almost like a foggy day.
Draco coughed. "Ma'am, if it is not rude to interrupt you. It is currently a Hogwarts visit to Hogsmeade and usually the general public rarely come during the visits."
"Yes, Draco. But you see I've come here with a specific purpose to see you." Her voice. Her voice suited her eyes. Chocolately – velvet. Extremely smooth.
"Do I know you?"
Instead of replying, two pale hands lifted the hood revealing a familiar face. Her cheeks seemed more pink than necessary. An effect from the cold concluded Draco. Her hair was caramel with streaks of blonde catching feeble rays of sunlight. The memory suddenly became clear. Too clear.
"Granger."

"So let me get this straight. You've come to Hogsmeade so you could give me a letter from my mother. Why couldn't she have given it to me herself?"
"Given her current situation, Narcissa can't even move her legs let alone come and give you a letter personally."
Draco moved closer. "Oh so now not only can my own mother deliver a message to me personally, she can't sent a bloody owl to tell me her current situation?"
Hermione placed a cool hand on his cheek, a technique she learnt that would calm down any man. "Draco." she whispered. "Narcissa still loves you. She kept this a secret because she loves you and is afraid that you'll overdramatise the whole thing. She still loves you."
Draco felt his temper ebbing away slowly. "How is she?" he finally asked.
~.~ The next day ~.~
Students piled into the Potions classroom looking bleary eyed.
"Morning, everyone."
"Morning, Professor Malfoy." Mumbled the few that could keep their eyes barely open.
"Now today we will be looking at Amortentia." A hand raised into the air. "Yes, Miss Walker?"
"I saw you in Hogsmeade kissing a girl. Who was she?" It was like a wakeup call. The whole class immediately started asking questions about the mystery girl.
"She's…a friend." said Draco.
"Friends don't kiss." replied Miss Walker.
"No they don't."
"So…who is she?"
"My…"
