Chapter 1: PrologueThe scenery shimmered brilliantly with the tiny diamond like flecks of water left behind from the mid-morning dew, the sun having just begun it's steady accent into the orange tinted sky, rays casting a peaceful glow among the lush life of the countryside, waking nature with it's warm caress. Soon, the delicate petals of flowers would begin to open, greeting all with its sweetly scented blossom, birds rising to lightly shake the moisture clinging to their fragile wings.
For some however, the sun was not seen as a giver of life and comfort, but a painful reminder of the passing days in which contentment was not provided to them.
What a travesty to view something so beautiful as such, one might think. But for those forced into suppression of its weighted burden know that even beautiful things hold a malice in which some are fortunate enough to avoid; for even the most unlikely being is vulnerable to the harsh aspects presented to them in life.
This however is not the story of a broken dawn, but the story of a girl saved with promises of love and protection only to be cast aside in truth.
This, is the story of a misunderstood man who through pain and betrayal held his love above all else.
This is the story of an unexpected love and the healing found through forgiveness.
