It has been twenty long years since Sakura had fell in love with Itachi Uchiha and become part of the Akatsuki. It was now that Naruto stood on top of the Hokage tower with Tsunade (the other still living Hokage) next to him. They do this every year just look out at the village and wish one day, no year she would come home. The last time they saw her was seven long years ago and she was very, very pregnant at the time.
"Tsunade, do you think she is still alive?" Naruto asked, Tsunade closed her eyes and sighed.
It was the same every year; Naruto would ask the exact same question and Tsunade would give the exact same answer
"She is with Itachi, she's fine," Sasuke said, from behind Naruto and Tsunade.
"Sasuke, there is no mission for you currently. So what are you doing here?" Tsunade asked, her eyes snapping open while her body turned to the side letting Naruto be able to see Sasuke.
Sasuke worked for the Hokages, but wasn't a ninja or member of the village currently. An arrangement had been made with Sasuke; the arrangement being benefits for both parties.
"How do you know for sure?" Naruto asked talking about Sasuke's statement; he turned round and looked at Sasuke standing less than ten meters away.
"I was talking to her this morning," Sasuke answered simply.
Before Tsunade or Naruto could reply Sasuke jumped up on to a beam above him, grabbed something and jumped back down putting something behind him and then turning to face the two Hokages.
"What was that about?" Naruto asked, just as she finished the question a small girl popped her head out from behind Sasuke.
"No, Rin," Sasuke complained at the small girl.
She was about ten and had midnight black hair and bright green eyes like Sakura's. She stepped out from behind Sasuke; when she turned to face him Naruto and Tsunade saw the Uchiha symbol on the back of her black shirt.
"Who is she?" Tsunade asked stunned, it was then Kisame, Itachi, Sakura and Pein jumped down in front of Sasuke and Rin.
Sakura took a step back as Anbu began to surround them; she knelt down in front of the small child and gave her a tight, warm hug.
"How many times have I told you not to run off?" Sakura asked Rin, her worry cRinr in her voice.
"But mum," Rin complained.
"Listen to your mother," Itachi ordered coldly, catching the kunai that Naruto had just thrown in his direction.
"We aren't here to fight, so just let us leave peacefully and we won't hurt you," Itachi ordered.
"Not a chance stupid Uchiha," Naruto yelled, his anger for Itachi had been incredibly strong ever since he had taken Sakura away.
"No one calls my dad stupid," Two boys (12 years old) yelled, stepping out from beneath Kisame's Akatsuki cloak.
Itachi put his hand on his forehead sighing, as the two boys stood in front of him. A 17 year old boy jumped down from one of the trees and stood in front of Itachi. Then like a flash a group of kids were standing in front of him, all the kids being his and Sakura's side.
"Itachi, we need to get out of here," Sakura whispered in his ear, now standing behind him and Rin beside him.
"No, please Sakura, just let us talk," Tsunade said, indicating to the Anbu surrounding Sakura, Itachi, Kisame, Pein, Sasuke and the children.
"What is it?" Sakura asked.
"Please just stay," Tsunade almost begged.
"Itachi?" Sakura asked, glancing at Itachi to see if he would agree.
"It's fine with me," Itachi replied, looking at his wife.
"Thank you, Itachi," Sakura said, planting a small kiss on the side of Itachi's cheek.
The Anbu had returned to their stations, while the large group of adults and children had moved into the Hokages' office.
"Are they all yours," Tsunade asked, standing to the side of everyone with Sakura and Naruto having a private conversation.
"Daddy, why is mum talking to those people?" A black haired nine year old boy asked.
"This is mum's first home, they were…are her old friends," Itachi told the boy.
"Kisame, what is wrong?" Madara the oldest of Itachi's children asked.
"Madara, stop watching me," Kisame replied, trying to hid his body actions and expressions.
"No matter, what you do Madara will always be able to read you," The twelve year old twins said.
"Shut up, Tsubasa and Takuma," Kisame ordered angrily.
"Why it's not like you can do anything," Takuma and Tsubasa teased.
"Tsubasa, Takuma," Itachi warned, not even glancing at the troublesome twins.
Sakura glanced over at the twins, each catching her eyes and seeing the warning in her eyes before she continued the conversations with Naruto and Tsunade. It was almost a second later that Sakura turned, walking to her family and the Akatsuki.
"We can stay at the Uchiha Compound," Sakura told everyone.
"If that is what you want," Tsunade replied.
"It is, it's about time we show the kids the original Uchiha Compound," Sakura said, leaving Tsunade and Naruto and making her way to her husband's side.
"Let's go," Sakura said, taking Kouki from Kisame and holding him close to her chest.
"The rest of the Akatsuki at the front gate," Madara said to his mum, it was almost a minute later that an Anbu entered the office and told Tsunade that Akatsuki members were at the front gate.
"Kisame and I, will go meet them. See you at the Uchiha Compound," Itachi said, leaving the room.
"Naruto, take the Uchiha family to the Uchiha Compound, I will meet you there," Tsunade said, quickly following after the two Akatsuki.
"Shouta, come here," Sakura said, her youngest sitting on the floor at her (second oldests') Daito's feet.
The small toddler stood walking towards his parents. Reaching them Shouta reached up to try and grabs one of his mum's hands; holding Kouki in one arm, Sakura held Shouta's hand. Naruto walked ahead of the family as they made their way through the street, it was shortly into the walk that Shouta started to get tired. So Madara scooped Shouta up into her arms and carried him easily.
"Fast, fast," Shouta shouted, looking happily at his biggest brother.
Madara looked at his parents in silent question and when receiving a nod from his parents, smirked. Madara zoomed down the street as fast as he could, stopping at the very end and zooming back towards his parents/ Madara stopped a couple of meters before his parents and waited for Shouta's reaction. Shouta immediately began laughing and squirming in Madara's tight grip.
"Again, again, please big brother," Shouta laughed, tugging at his big brother's collar.
"Enough for now, your brother has had a long run. I'm sure that your brother is really tired," Itachi told Shouta.
"But daddy…" Shouta complained.
"Shouta, we will go for a run later tonight," Madara whispered loudly to his brother, so that their parents could hear him.
As they entered an older part of the village, the twins (Tsubasa and Takuma) saw an open doorway and concrete wall ahead of them.
"Is that it?" Takuma and Tsubasa asked.
"Yes, it is," Sakura replied; the twins ran towards the doorway.
As the twins ran through the doorway they stopped and glanced back at their family and Naruto walking towards them.
"Mum, dad, it's just like home," Tsubasa and Takuma exclaimed as Sasuke the person at the back of the group stepped through the doorway.
"Your father based it on this place," Sakura began, amazed at how it looked just like home down to the smallest detail.
"Welcome home," Naruto said.
"This isn't our home anymore," Sasuke said, walking with his nephews and niece towards the main house.
"Moody Uchiha isn't he," Naruto said to Sakura.
"Naruto, that is my family you are talking about," Sakura said, leaving Itachi and Naruto alone.
"You mention my family in a negative manner again and I will torture and then leave you to die," Itachi said, leaving Naruto to watch him walk away calmly.
"You threatened him, didn't you," Sakura said, as Itachi caught up to the family.
"I won't let anyone talk about my family in a negative way," Itachi replied, his wife nodded in agreement as Sasuke opened the door to the main house and everyone piled in.
A single thought ran through Naruto's head, this was going to be an interesting few weeks, with the entire living Uchiha family in the village.
