AN: Nothing belongs to me and everything belongs to our queen, JKR!
"Oh no, it's happening!" Freddie groaned, his hands balling into fists on their own accord. Louis rolled his eyes at his older cousin's antics, tapping impatiently on the wooden counter he was perched upon. He didn't want to waste his Hogsmeade trip on Freddie if he was simply going to go play out the dreaded overprotective brother act. It was just too horribly cliche, the blonde boy thought to himself, and Freddie had always seemed above all that.
"Yes well, unfortunately for you, she's hardly a troll, so male attention was always going to be a given, mate," Louis said, squinting as he tilted his head to get a clear view through the shelves to the spot right in front of the store window where Freddie was now glaring daggers at and looked just about ready to move towards, "I'd really advise you not interfere. You know what your sister's like."
He did, but that didn't stop Fred from huffing loudly as he watched Roxanne talking animatedly to some lanky hufflepuff kid he didn't know. The fool was staring too openly at his 14 year old sister, and Fred was certain he could make out a blush forming in the young boy's cheeks; all in response to Roxanne's open smiles and wild hand gestures.
"Well, she's just lucky Dad's at the Diagon Alley store today, because if he were here that kid wouldn't stand a chance," he reasoned, eyes fixed on the duo, cringing as the unknown hufflepuff suddenly managed to stumble forward a little, invading Roxanne's personal space before clumsily righting himself and moving himself backwards with a stricken look upon his face.
Freddie let out an amused hum, "Oh, I almost feel sorry for him now."
"Merlin, who trips when they're standing completely still?" Louis snorted, shaking his head.
"I suppose he never really did stand a chance, though. No one can resist the Weasley charm! Curse these good looks," Fred joked, wriggling his eyebrows.
"So modest."
"Hey, you're looking at an eight time nominee and three time winner of Hogwarts most fancyable male - as voted by the general female Hogwarts population - Who needs modesty?"
"Explain to me again, how you got nominated for that this year, when you finished a year ago?" a baffled Louis asked, scrunching his face up at the smug boy in front of him.
"M'afraid I'm just that good looking," Fred grinned, refocusing his gaze back to where Roxanne now seemed to be comfortably leaning towards the boy in front of her, her head slowly shifting upwards..
"Oh no you don't!" Fred exclaimed, making a dash for the front door.
Louis sighed, "This isn't going to be pretty.."
