Ridiculous
By Silver Sailor Ganymede

It was ridiculous, she knew it was; there were so many people out there, people who would be no trouble for her to fall in love with and that would love her back. Yet there she was pining after the coldest, cruelest, most beautiful girl in the world, something the world would be loath to accept.

Even if Zakuro loved her back, which she knew was a total impossibility in itself, no one would accept it. It just wouldn't work. Zakuro was a star and she… she was nobody at all. Besides, they had a mission to complete and a world to save. Some things were more important.

Yes, the whole situation was just ridiculous, and sadly there was nothing that could be done about it. Better to keep her true emotions bottled up, better never to say what she said, better to see only intact dreams than to see reality, a place where fickle glass dreams were more often then not smashed into pieces, leaving behind only the bitter taste of blood. She knew she could never say anything, for what would have been that point of that?

If Minto had actually stopped and for a moment and looked into her love's supposedly icy eyes, she would have realised that her feelings weren't so ridiculous after all.
