Disclaimer: I don't own Legend of Zelda, which includes the Song of Storms.
Well, after watching a Song of Storms video once too many times, which had possible lyrics for the song, I thought I should give my own a try. So if you've already used this, or if my poem is like yours, I'm sorry. Not my fault, didn't plagiarize.
The Storm
The sky, the sky
is veiled in gray.
Dark and foreboding
this cloudy day.
The sky, the sky
is hidden away
by the storm-clouds today.
-
The wind, the wind,
begins to blow.
Frigid from the north,
faster it grows.
The wind, the wind
promises a show;
the tempest roar lets us know.
-
The rain, the rain
falls from the sky,
like the many teardrops
I have cried.
The rain, cold rain
falling from up high,
its mourning never lies.
-
Lightning, lightning,
Splits the sky in two
with a blinding flash
and a burning blast.
Lightning, lightning
strikes, and strikes anew.
What are weak mortals to do?
-
Thunder, thunder
gives a mighty clap
so that all
may hear heaven's wrath.
Thunder, thunder
with a mighty crash,
signals the chaos unleashed.
-
The storm, the storm
rages through the day,
a mocking image
of violent gods' play.
The storm, the storm,
is like me;
turmoiled emotions set free.
Eh.. poetry... I used to write it all the time...
Amazing for someone with RHOS...
So, I hope this wasn't too bad... --Blue.
