Toris had no idea what Ivan was thinking sometimes. Sometimes he was unbelievebly cruel, but others he was so nice that you'd think he was up to something.
One day he had come back home, and he had held out a human heart to Toris. He was about to say something, but poor Latvia had fainted. Toris took him up to his room, and when he came back, Russia was in one of his moods again.
Yes, Toris shivered as he remembered that night. Russia had downed about 18 bottles of vodka, perhaps more. Then he started to rant about something in slurred Russian, so Toris wasn't quite sure what he was saying. Sure, he had learned some Russian, but Ivan had been talking way too fast, using words he had not yet learned. Not to mention that his speech was slurred, so that didn't help at all.
Toris sighed. What came after was almost worse. Almost.
Russia had quieted down. It was frightening. Then, Russia had turned to Toris with an eerie smile, and asked him:
"Do you know what today is?"
Toris thought for a moment. Should he know what today was? When he shook his head, Russia merely laughed and threw an empty vodka bottle at his head. He took that as permission to leave, and dodged the object while quickly running out of the room.
And now, Ivan had told him to report to his office after he was done with the chores. Oh, yay.
He knocks, hesitantly, on the door.
"Come in~" Came the happy, childish, falsely innocent voice. He opened the door, cautiously, expecting something to come flying at him. Nothing happened. He looked up to see Russia sitting at his desk, smiling.
"Hello, Lithuania~" He sang, motioning for him to come closer. "How are you today~?"
"Uh...I'm....good?" Toris asked in reply, not sure if that was the answer Russia wanted. "A-and how are you?"
"Ah, I'm good, thank you~" He stands up, walking toward Toris. He gulped.
"S-so what did you want to talk about...?" He asked, wondering if he really wanted to know.
He was worried when Russia stopped right in front of him. He figured it would be another beating. Eh, if he was lucky, perhaps he'd get away with a few scars and bruises? Or perhaps just a broken or two?
Needless to say, he was surprised when Russia leaned down to kiss him. Perhaps he was more surprised when Russia confessed his love to him. But maybe he was most surprised when....he woke up.
A/N: .........Haha?
I'm sorry, Russia x Lithunia fans, don't kill me! .;
My first try at writing romance...did I epic fail? It was a random idea that came to me because I watched way too many videos of this pairing. :3
