They smiled into each other's eyes as plaid clad students awkwardly walked past them, Rory looked over to Tristan's direction, he was gone but her books remained on the stone border along some planted flowers.
"What do you say we get out of here?" Dean almost whispered, kissing Rory once more
"Let me get my books first" Rory pushed down Dean's hands from her face, and quickly gathered her books, and returned to Dean's car. They drove to a quaint forest and stopped on the side of the road. "I thought we were going back to Stars Hollow?" Rory slightly questioned
"I just thought we could go somewhere more private for now, just to talk, you know?" Rory knew that this conversation about what just happened would come up, she didn't expect it now though. They climbed into the bed of the truck. "Do you really love me?" Dean almost looked worried.
"Yes Dean, I love you." Rory reassured
"Because if you are just saying that, then tell me now."
"Nope. I absolutely, positively love you Dean Forester." Rory smiled leaning over to engage in a kiss that seemed to never end, finally they broke apart.
"Good, because I still do. Good thing you said it sooner than later because I might have stopped." Dean teased,
"Yes, very good thing." They kissed again. The rest of the time was spent kissing and saying that they loved each other more. They both thought it was pretty cheesy, but that didn't stop them. They were in the middle of an I love you battle, when Rory looked down at her watch: 7:02 PM. "Shoot! I told my mom I'd meet her at Luke's by 7!"
"Do you have to go?" Dean kissed Rory again
"I don't want to, but I told her I would."
"Alright fine, let's go" Dean hopped off and offered his hand to Rory. They drove back to Star's Hollow and Rory paged Lorelai telling her she'd meet her outside of Luke's.
"Here's good, I'll talk to you later, bye." Another kiss, Rory began to leave,
"Oh, Rory?"
"Yes?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes." And she kissed him on the cheek, without another word, she left.
