Religious Slave

He looks at me like the forbidden fruit;

All he wants is a taste.

Looking to covet me,

Telling himself not to act in haste.

He thinks I'll grow to love him,

In that he is wrong;

For between the two of us

Something does not belong.

His questioning eyes and adoring stares

All go unwanted.

He holds hope in his gaze,

He remains undaunted.

His white collar displayed,

A cross upon his breast

Knowing I'm his sin

He gives himself no rest.

He hunts me down with pleasantry

Continuing until we're beaten.

Pushing me to my safer place

Finding me in my Eden.

He transforms back to the beast;

He becoming the serpent I becoming his Eve,

Putting out different intentions

His meaning to deceive.

No knight will come and save me

No angel with a flaming sword

Planting no escape for me

I become his ward.

I will slay the snake as he was slain

Never to return.

Sending him to his own infernal place

Forever more to burn.
