Quinn's POV
I never thought that I'd sing that song. I mean, sure it was popular but I didn't want to sing it like everyone else was. Brit sang it all the time during practice and Santana would be singing along. You might think I'd stick to the "in" songs but I'm not that type of girl. Sure there are some good popular songs nowadays but that wasn't exactly my type.
But who knew that one person could change all that.
It was a regular day in school. I was walking down the hall to my locker when this one boy caught my eye. He was facing the other way so all I could see was his blond hair. I figured he was new because I've never seen him before. His locker was next to mine so when I came up to my locker, I decided to welcome him to our "wonderful" school.
"Hi there. I'm Quinn Fabray, captain of the Cheerios. I'm guessing you're new here," I said. I didn't see it a few minutes ago but now that he was facing me, I saw that his eyes were this nice shade of green. He also had these huge lips that one might think were kind of weird but strangely looked so…delicious. No Quinn, he's new…and you don't need a man in your life right now. No. Not yet.
"Oh…uh hi! I'm Sam Evans. And yeah, I'm new here," he replied. He smiled at me and then started asking me questions about where these certain classes were. I found it quite cute how he looked a little lost. Kind of like a puppy.
I told him everything there was to know about WMHS. I told him all about slushies and how to wipe them off your face just in case no one was around to help you. I told him that I was in Glee club. "Oh, so you sing?" he asked me. I said yes, of course. And then he told me everything there was to know about him. I laughed and he smiled and we became instant friends.
Hey, I just met you
And this is crazy.
But here's my number,
So call me, maybe?
It kept playing over and over in my head. I couldn't help myself. "Here," I handed him a piece of paper with my cellphone number on it. "Call me, maybe?" I winked, turned around and went to my next class.
Sam's POV
I had just made friends with the captain of the Cheerios. She handed me her number saying, "Here. Call me, maybe?"
That sounded awfully familiar. I was looking down at the number and then I realized it was just like that new song. "Hey, isn't tha-," I looked back up and she was gone.
I will call her. I mean, this could just be the start of something new.
