As a small announcement of the grooms' first dance was made above the crowd, John led Sherlock into the ballroom's center. The couple dozen people that littered the dance floor joined the couple more dozen that were scattered about the edges. The merry talking and eating and drinking stopped abruptly as John turned around and dragged Sherlock in towards himself.
John smiled and threaded his arms around the detectives neck, his eyes meeting the clear aqua ones of the other man, who returned the blissful look. Sherlock placed graceful fingers awkwardly on John's waist and grabbed a hold of him gently but firmly, letting John take him in a sway to the beat of the slow music being played by the band.
Sherlock leaned his forehead against that of John's, looking downwards at their feet. A pair of white slacks that belonged to John stood inside Sherlock's black ones as they shuffled back and forth to their song that played above their pressed together heads. John smiled again, staring back up into his new husband's eyes, both sets shining in perfect bliss before they let their lips touch delicately. They each pulled back with a grin before they finished out their song in the same soft manner.
