Before the Ball

Jupiter-

"Ah! I surrender, I give up you win! Stop!" The cry was of a boy pinned to they ground
by a green eyed, brown haired little girl.
"Are you sure?" She asked in a mocking tone.
"Yes please let me up, the sun is setting!" This stopped her attack, when the boy realized
she let go he made a break for it pushing her onto the grass. She looked across the now
dry moor to see the last fade of sun light. She looked up at the clear sky to see it had
turned a dark blue. She saw the white moon as clear as day, with it's silver sparkle
'Beautiful' she thought to herself. Then she remembered she was late and it was a long
way back to the palace. She picked up the fringed of the pink and white striped dress,
she had on, that now had grass stains on it. As she began to run to the town, she could
see the distant green flames spark up every where. She knew it was getting late then and
she had a lot of work to do. As she first stepped on the cobble street, that appeared to be
a greenish-gold tint, she saw that the jade looking palace straight ahead of her had
already dimmed the lights in unneeded rooms. She knew she was really in trouble when
she smelled the food aromas coming from the different houses.
"Makoto!" A voice near by was calling.
"I'm here." The little girl said a little worried.
"Where is 'here'? The voice said irritated.
"At the edge of the Moors sister!" The girl said, her worry now gone.
"Stay there and I'll come and find you!" The little girl now wasn't worried about getting
in trouble, she knew that her sister wouldn't let their parents blame her.

As Makoto stayed where she was, she looked up at the sky again, it was now a dark green
blue directly up, the moon now had a bluish tint to it. She looked down at the town
again. A black street lamp was next to her, it had a yellow and green flame inside which
made it shine bright. She looked around at the houses, the families inside were now
sitting down to meals, the flowers in the boxes outside were all green and orange. She
had grown up with these colors so she didn't mind them, she just grew sick of them every
once in a while. That was one of the reasons she was glad to be going to the moon this
night, it had lots of white flowers. She also knew that if the Queen and Princesses liked
her they would let her visit the other planets and take some flowers to grow in her garden.
She smiled at this thought.
"Well I'm glad someone is happy." A girl said, she appeared to be nineteen, she had a
brown pony tail that fell to her waist, she had emerald green eyes, both of them took after
their father.
"Well let's get back so we can leave."
"You mean we're still going?"
"Of course, it would be rude not to go." They took each others hands and started to walk
back to the palace.
"Have you been beating up the boys on the moors again?" The little girl let go of her
sisters hand and started running to the palace.
"Race ya!"
