A/N: So I decided to write this because to be honest, I needed some E/O fluffiness. It's short, and it's a Oneshot, but enjoy!

Elliot sat across the desk from Olivia, her droopy, tired hazel eyes skimming the paperwork in the dull light of the lamp. It was after hours, and Elliot and Olivia were stuck doing paperwork, both of their inboxes filled to the brim. Her olive-toned skin shimmered in the light, her facial features—such as her cheekbones—were exaggerated by shadows. Elliot smiled to himself; she was so pretty and she doubted herself all the more.

"Olivia?" he asked, his heart pounding at just the sight of her.

"Mmm?" She asked, looking up at him.

"Do you… do you wanna dance?" He asked, timidly.

Olivia shot him a strange look, but her skeptically smirk slowly turned into a coy smile. "Elliot, there's no…." but she quickly changed her train of thought, and said, "Sure."

Elliot stood up, and walked around to her chair. He held out his hand, and smiled at her. Blushing slightly, Olivia accepted it and they walked out into the middle of the precinct.

Once in the center of the room, Elliot grabbed Olivia's hand, and put his other hand on her waist. Olivia did the same, except placing her hand on his shoulder. With a playful smile, she asked Elliot, "So what made you ask me to dance?"

Smiling and looking away, he thought of an answer. "You looked like you needed to do something either than paperwork. And I couldn't think of anything else."

Olivia chuckled. "Well, thank you, Elliot." She smiled up at him, his blue eyes twinkling.

Olivia sighed, and put her head down on his shoulder. They continued to slow dance to no music, until Elliot softly said, "Liv?"

Olivia lifted up her head, and said, "Yes?" She quickly saw that her lips and Elliot's lips were almost two inches away from smashing into each other.

"I've always loved your eyes." He whispered, smiling.

Olivia gazed into his own, her heart stopping. She then pulled herself to Elliot's lips, feeling his warmth and kindness. She soon found herself with her hands on his face, her thumbs resting on his bulging jaw bones. He had his arms wrapped around her back, pulling her close. They released when air was an issue.

"Olivia," Elliot said, slowly. "I love you."

"I love you too, El." She wrapped him in a hug, and he refused to let go.

Because in actuality,

They never did their entire lives.
