Author's notes: This was meant to be a fluff piece, but yeah, I rewatched IotT. Sorry for out of characterness and grammar errors, I was high on sugar. I must be the only one who writes angst while hyper.
Disclaimer: None of the characters or events referenced in this belongs to me. I'd be happy to take 'em off the writer's hands, though. J

He broke his promise.

He'd promised to never hurt her. It was stupid and it would be nearly impossible to keep, but he'd promised.

And he'd broken it. He hadn't meant to, but she didn't seem to care.

Spinner wishes she'd promised something. Promised to never break his heart, too. Because she had. She was the last straw and he doesn't know if it's fixable. If he's fixable. If anything's fixable.

His parents are furious. Kendra's disgusted. No one will talk to him. Anywhere.

He wants to be mad. He wants to hate Kendra; he wants to hate Craig and Marco. He wants to hate everyone but he can't. He's just sad and ashamed and scared.

So scared.

He's not a bad person. Really. He wouldn't steal Jimmy's MP3 player, not really. He wouldn't bully someone until they brought a gun to school.

Except he had.

He screwed up. He really screwed up. And there's no way to make it okay again. There's no way to make Manny okay again.

He used to make her smile. She'd smile and laugh and kiss him, soft and slow. And he'd never tell anyone, but looking at her eyes and seeing them shine made his heart sore.

He wonders if her eyes will ever shine like that again. He hopes so, even if it's not with him. Maybe she'll get with Chester. He doesn't seem like a screw up.

Spinner wishes he weren't a screw up. He wishes he were still at Degrassi. He wishes Manny would hug him again.

He wishes anyone would hug him again.

He wishes he could hate Manny, like everyone hates him, but he can only miss her and cry.

He wishes he could say she broke their promise. He wishes he could say she broke them. But that would be a lie, and he doesn't want to do that, not ever again.

He did it. He broke Manny. He broke everything.

He just wishes someone would come fix it. Wishes someone would come fix him.
