Brothers
There stood Lucas, staring into the eyes of his brother. He could not believe that his own blood had been the Masked Man all this time. They had done everything together and this face off could have been avoided if Claus had not gone to the Drago Plateau. Claus stared into Lucas' eyes and saw pain, but also new found strength. Suddenly they heard a familiar voice calling them. "Lucas, Claus please stop fighting. You are brothers!" It was Hinawa. Her spirit stood beside Lucas and looked at Claus trying to reason with him, to help him remember who he really is.
Lucas: Claus... please.
Hinawa: It is over now. You must rest, you look exhausted.
Suddenly Claus threw off his helmet, the helmet shattered into pieces. Lucas could then see Claus clearly, but soon feared for what he planned on doing.
Hinawa noticed Lucas' reaction and told him in a soothing voice.
Hinawa: Dear he has done so many horrible deeds that he would never forget. This is a way to set him free so he won't have to suffer the guilt.
Lucas: But dad and I worried about him for 3 whole years! W-we need him...
Hinawa: Well if it means so much to you, how about we let Claus decide if he wants to stay?
Claus closed his eyes and thought to himself. "should I really go with her? I feel that I deserve to be with mom, but then again Lucas and dad miss me. If I went with mom i would only be by Lucas' side in spirit..."
Claus: I'm staying. I wish to help Lucas, even though i can't take back all the horrible things I did when I was the masked man. I hope your not mad at me mom.
Hinawa: Of course not. This was your choice after all and seeing how you wish to remain here with your family, you should be happy. I'm sure we will all be together someday and maybe the dragon may bring me back. I will watch you pull the final needle.
Claus: Lucas let's pull the needle together.
Lucas nodded and looked over at his father and friends who just regained conciousness.
Flint: Claus, Hinawa. It has been so long...
Hinawa: It has, Claus has decided to stay with you dear.
Flint could not believe his eyes as tears rolled down his cheeks.
Lucas: I'm sorry to interupt, but don't we have a needle to pull?
Claus: Right, lets do it.
The family smiled at each other as they watched Lucas and Claus pull the final needle. As the world appeared as it was about to end the dark dragon had restored all life that was lost and the Earth was soon at peace.
