Heroes Fan-Fiction. Tickle.

"Bye, Dad!"

"Bye! Have fun at cheerleading, Claire Bear!"

"I will!" I slammed the door shut. 'Maybe not at cheerleading, but I'll still have fun anyway!' I thought to myself as I walked down the road, the sky was tinged the orange of the setting sun.

I'd got no further than two streets down when something swooped down and grabbed me around the waist, taking me up into the air with.

"West! Damn it, I told you not to do that!" He was laughing. The only thing that melted my annoyance was the fact that he looked real cute when he laughed. I couldn't help but smile.

"Sorry, sorry, I can't help it! I guess I just love to feel you in my arms like this." He smiled a true smile. He was so cute. What I'd been looking for for so long. But Dad didn't want me to date for some weird reason. I don't know why he's being so strict. He never has been before. I wonder what's so different this time. Probably him being self-obsessed and not wanting any attention drawn to us. Not wanting anyone but him to have happiness. I sighed.

"What's wrong?" West asked, while bringing us down to land.

"Just my Dad. I don't get why he's being so strict and pushy about this. Why can't he let me be happy?"

"Hey, he's your Dad, of course he's going to be strict about stuff, especially because you're older now. Has he given you the talk yet?" He smirked. I mock-punched his chest.

"Yes, actually, two years ago, and it was excruciatingly embarrassing that time. I really don't need a repeat!" He laughed.

" Hey, are you laughing at me?" I joked, face straight. He set us down and held his hands up in surrender.

"No, no I'm just laughing at a joke I remembered."

"That's a lame excuse," I couldn't help but smile.

"Maybe it is. But I can always do this-" and with that, he started tickling me. Right at the sides where it really, really makes you squirm. I begged him to stop in-between fits of giggles.

"What if I don't?" He teased. I couldn't muster an answer, my breathing was too heavy.

He finally stopped and put his arms around my waist then pulled me down onto the grass. Well, he landed on the grass. I landed on top of him. I was still trying to catch my breath, so I sat upon him, squashing his legs.

"Hey!" He shouts.

"Payback." I smile. While I try to get my breathing back to normal, I finally acknowledge my surroundings. There's a blanket folded up a few yards away, but I hardly register that. We're sat in a circle of grass filled with tiny, colourful flowers. Trees surround all but one small part, fresh and green. A small path leads away somewhere from the clearing. I smell the sap in the air, so clean.

West sits up the best he can with me on his legs. I turn my head to look at him. I realise my lips have fallen open slightly. I shut my mouth. He smiles widely and takes my hands in his.

"So, what do you think? Will it do?"

"Will it do?! It's beautiful!" I reply.

"Not as beautiful as you."

"Give over." I mock-punch him again, his hand still entwined with mine.

"I'm being serious! You are, Claire." I smile, close my eyes and press my lips to his. I don't need words to show my gratitude. He knows it means an awful lot to me.
