Ianto was trying to resist the cuddling. Really, he was trying to resist. Even on this beautiful morning (Well, Ianto thought it was beautiful, he wouldn't really know, as Jack's bunker hardly has windows) he had his laptop propped up and was typing away on a report. Jack was having none of that. He pulled Ianto back, until Ianto was snuggled in between his knees and Jack's arms linked around his waist. "Careful, baby. If you keep this up I might think you like work better than me."

Ianto wiggled in his lap. "Ugh, Jack. Let me go. And don't call me that," he scoffed softly, "I'm nobody's baby." Jack chuckled, burrowing his head into the soft flesh on Ianto's shoulder, pulling the blankets up on him. "Would you just let me have my pet name, Mr. Starchy Britches?" Normally Ianto would have met this with blank features and a sarcastic comment, but it was early, and there is hardly any reason to act stoic to a man who is holding you on his lap. So, Ianto laughed, and poked Jack's side, closing the laptop. "Alright. Fine. You win. We only have 10 minutes, though, until I need to get dressed."

It was Jack's turn to scoff, as he turned Ianto around to rest on his chest. "Just go out like that. No one would care." Ianto shook his head and rolled his eyes. "Oh. No one would care if I exited into the hub wearing nothing but your shirt and my boxers? I beg to differ, Sir." Jack wrinkled his nose. " If you call me sir one more time, I'll swear I'll-" Ianto laughed and kissed him, just in time to silence the threat.

Unfortunately for Ianto, it was just in time for Gwen to open the door to jack's bunker. "Jack, I came early to see if we could talk ab-" She froze, not sure what to do. It wasn't like she hadn't walked in on them before. Every member of the team had. They had caught Jack and Ianto going at it behind the SUV, outside the hub, on the invisible lift, on Owen's desk. The List goes on and on and ON. But this time was different. She wasn't walking in on Jack and Ianto about to have sex. This was their real intimacy, with Ianto buried in Jack's arms and Jack buried in Ianto's. This time she wasn't going to be greeted with cheeky grin form jack and a guilty one from Ianto. And she couldn't look away.

Ianto's entire body tensed as he tried to spring up and regain the three foot distance that was permanently between him and Jack at work. It was better that way. Any closer and hand's tended to wander over each other and they really should be more focused on their work than that. Jack just tighted his grip on the younger boy. "Yes?"

Gwen noticed something else. Jack had a look of blazing defiance plastered all over his face. He was daring her to mess this up. It was a challenge. And this challenge she would not win. So Gwen Cooper took a deep breath, said nothing, and left. It was her letting go of her last grip on Jack. And it was her giving back Ianto his morning. After all, everyone does deserve that last ten minutes.
