Ciel hates airports. He hates flying and crowded places and he hates seeing so many people be happy with their families whenever he can't be, and airports generally piss him off to no end. And yet here he is, waiting for his blond idiot of a best friend to get off his flight, (which just so happens to be late, god fucking dammit) and twiddling his thumbs while his other idiot of a best friend laughs at him.

Alois absolutely adores airports. They're always filled with so many people reuniting with loved ones and meeting new friends for the first time, and people going off to do what they love. He sees so many people get off flights, drop their bags, and run to someone they love. He wishes he could have that. He thinks about the happy faces in the airport while he's on the plain, and falls asleep after half an hour.

While Ciel waits, he buys two coffees from the starbucks in the airport, and sits on the floor, because there are no more seats left and he's so tired that he frankly doesn't care anymore. He just wants his dumb blondie to hurry up and land. He sighs, and his phone buzzes.

"ciel! We've just landed, I'm off the plane now x"

He reads the text, then reads it again, and he almost chokes on his coffee because Alois is here he has landed and he's about to meet him oh god, he needs to stay cool and calm for this. He stands up, and immediately spots a bright yellow mop of hair.

There's a nice man who wakes Alois up when the plane lands. Blond and brown hair, large glasses, and horrible shoes. Although admittedly, he was far too close for Alois to be comfortable, but Alois was thankful someone actually woke him.

He turns his phone on, texts Ciel saying that he's just landed, and practically skips off the plane. He stands on his tip toes to see over the crowd, and looks towards the starbucks, where he sees a small boy with blue hair sitting on the floor. He watches the boy stand up and notice him, and oh my god, it's Ciel.

Alois gasps, and smiles brightly at the boy in front of him. Ciel smiles back. They both keep eye contact for a few seconds, before Alois squeaks and runs towards Ciel, dropping his bags and coat on the floor. Ciel hands Sebastian both of the drinks, and Alois has reached him before he even starts to run. He opens his arms, expecting Alois to give him a crushing hug, but instead is greeted with Alois practically leaping into his arms and kissing him. Ciel smiles, and holds the taller boy up by his waist.

Neither of them knows how long the other has been waiting to do that.

Ciel sets Alois down, and hugs him again once his feet touch the ground. Alois hides his face in his shoulder, and Ciel can hear him giggle.

"You really weren't lying about being short." He whispers, and Ciel laughs. "Shut up," he mumbles. "Just because you're too tall."

They pull apart, and Alois feels a tap on his shoulder. It's the man who woke him on the plane, standing with a girl with bright red hair, and holding his things. He hands them over, gives Alois a knowing wink, and the two walk off. Alois blushes, and Ciel laughs at him.

Sebastian hands them their coffee, and they walk home together. None of them mention the kiss. Although both Alois and Ciel know they want to do it again, and Sebastian is just clueless. As usual.

"This is Sebastian, by the way." Ciel says, pointing to the taller boy beside him, who in turn smiled gently and said a small "Nice to meet you!" before putting his earphone back in.
