"Ah crap Granger, how do you do this every summer?" huffed Malfoy as he brushed a pine needle from his shoulder.

A handful of Hogwarts students were out in the Forest of Dean for summer break. Hermione suggested that they all go camping. And here they were, Harry, Ron, Hermione, nearly the whole house of Gryffindor. Crabbe, Goyle, Malfoy and Blaise Zabini were the only Slytherins to come.

From Hufflepuff, Justin, Cedric, Zacharias, Ernie, Susan and Hannah. Not as much Ravenclaws though.

The sun was shining bright, most of the teens were sweating. "There's at least a lake here right Hermione?" asked Ginny, fanning herself with her hand.

"That's a jolly fine idea, Gin." called Fred.

"Right, then it's set. We'll meet at the lake in 'bout a half hour?" Harry asked. Everyone nodded in agreement. Most set out for their tents but a few raced for the cabin. Harry was the first one in. He grabbed his trunks and ambled to the bathroom. He was just pulling down his shorts when the door opened and a flash of red appeared. "Oi! Occupied!" he screeched.

He pulled up his shorts and blushed furiously when he saw it was Ginny. "Shit." She swore. "Sorry Harry."

He quickly dressed and walked stiffly out the cabin. He avoided Ginny's eyes and both their cheeks were on fire. Everyone was already there, but the only ones in the water were Fred and George. The rest were standing at the shore awkwardly. The guys in only their trunks and the girls in somewhat skimpy suits. "You guys are idiots." said Ron with a sigh. He picked Hermione up like a baby and threw her in. She shrieked with glee as she landed in the cold water. George leaped out and started pushing everyone in. "Live while we're young!" he yelled as he jumped in and landed on Fred. The only people missing were Malfoy, Crabbe, Zabini and Goyle. But no one noticed except Hermione. The sun was setting when most started to climb out of the lake. Shivering, they made a b-line for the cabins. After everyone had taken a nice, warm shower, the twins made a large fire. "Gather 'round, you lot." they called. It was nearly ten o'clock and the Slytherin bunch was still out of sight.

"Where are those idiots?" she asked out loud.

"No one gives a crap 'bout them 'Mione." Ron yawned. "I wouldn't give a crap if they got eaten by a hippogriff."

"Ron," Harry began. "I doubt that there are any hippogriffs running loose in the muggle world. If anything, there's bears out here."

Hermione nodded in agreement. "It's just... pity their family likes them."

When everyone began to yawn, the twins put out the fire and all said goodnight to each other.

...

As Harry, Ginny and Hermione trudged towards the cabin, the trees rustled behind them, but only Hermione seemed to notice. They parted ways at the top of the stairs. Harry and Ginny in one room, and Hermione alone since Ron wanted a tent.

"Pretty decent start for the week eh?" Harry asked Ginny.

"I'll say." she responded. "Harry, sorry about earlier, I really am."

Harry grinned in the faded light. "S'all right. I mean, I'm sure it was an accident."

Ginny just yawned. "Well good night then." she said sleepily as the kissed each other.

In the other room, Hermione was about to drift off when, she heard a banging against her window. Startled, she bolted upright. Seeing absolutely nothing, she lay back down. She didn't sleep right away though. Why on earth am I so jumpy tonight? she thought. For once, she came up with no answer. She drifted off, the question still lingering in her mind.

The sun was absolutely blinding. Hermione blinked sleepily, but realized that something was wrong. There was an arm around her torso. Definitely not Ron's though. She bent her neck to see whose arm it was. Blond hair. Oh God. The arm, the body, the man lying next to her was none other than Draco Malfoy.
