(AN: This is the clean version of this story, meaning very fluffy and loving, but no lemons. I put this for the viewers who want to see these characters in love, but not necessarily jump each others bones. The extended explicit version will be the next chapter, even though this is a one shot. Please enjoy and review.)

Ciel sighed. He had always hated the snow… He hated the winter, his birthday, Christmas, the cold, and especially snow. Yet, somehow, he always made the decision to walk in it around the mansion. He'd ordered Sebastian to not follow or interrupt him with the obvious exception of a large matter of importance or if he were to be attacked.

There was another thing Ciel hated about the snow… it was as white and beautiful as his butler's skin. The sixteen year old boy wrapped his scarf around the bottom half of his face tighter breathing hot angry air out. That gorgeous skin that he couldn't touch… no matter how much he had wanted to. God, how he wanted to…

Ciel walked around the perimeter of the mansion as he thought to himself. He remembered the day he had fallen in love… for the first and only time. Ciel figured he had probably always loved Sebastian, but the day he truly completely fell in love with him… the day he knew he loved Sebastian beyond some silly crush or basic attraction, and the day he had let him in… was when Lizzie had smashed his ring.

The second he saw the precious blue ring shatter… he felt something within him shatter, too. That ring was a part of his very existence… it was one of the very last ties to his beloved parents that he had. Lizzie had almost taken it from him… He remembered his rage literally blinding him as he raised his hand to strike the bitch… He can clearly remember his inner voice demanding he not only hit her, but that he kill her. That he smash her and her stupid cute decorations.

As always, Sebastian was there to stop him and remind him who he was and what the right thing to do was. He was thankful for him, then. But later, in his room… when Sebastian gave him the ring repaired… it was the closest Ciel had ever been to crying in front of him. In the second the black haired demon got on his knee and slipped it onto his finger… Ciel knew. Ciel felt it, shockingly. He was in love with his butler… and he showed him the darkest and most secret weakness he had. It was the only way he knew at the time to show him how much he loved him.

Now, he was a sixteen year old demon who would be with Sebastian forever. But Ciel wasn't happy. Sebastian was himself, as he had always been, but… he seemed sadder, somehow. Now that he was a servant forever… Ciel resented himself further and more importantly he cursed Alois Trancy's name. But sure enough, the bastard got resurrected the previous month by Claude. It had all been for nothing.

Ciel looked around the snow falling to the ground. He really missed Sebastian… he realized how silly that was, all he had to do was go inside and he'd be there. But he kind of liked missing Sebastian. The silence of nothing but Ciel's thoughts. He really, really loved Sebastian. He really, really hated winter. The more he loved Sebastian, the more he hated winter.

He hated the cold, like how his skin felt when Sebastian would take away his touch that he loved.

He hated the white, like Sebastian's skin that he loved.

He hated the ice that could make him slip into the arms he loved.

He hated the snow, because it was pure in the way his love was.

He hadn't realized how he had sat at the bench beside his currently dead garden. He rubbed his gloved hands together. He looked into the sky and let tears fall from his eyes, feeling like they might freeze to his cheeks. He wished he had his parents there to help him figure this out… He, for the first time, wondered if Vincent had loved his wife. It was only now he became aware that it was possible, maybe even likely, that he hadn't. It wouldn't be the first or last arrangement based on status… Ciel's engagement to his own ex-fiancé was included on that list.

Ciel frowned a little remembering how Lizzie had bawled when Ciel told her the truth of his situation, that he was now a demon… that while she'd grow older every day, Ciel would age incredibly slowly, then stop. How he'd outlive her… and how he didn't want to marry her. Lizzie had been upset at first, but, she did move on. She was engaged again in no time, to Lord George Collins. He was a very lively young man and rather ambitious and friendly. He was a man who smiled often, and was perfect for Lizzie. There was no doubt that their union was one of love, as well as status. Lizzie still loved Ciel, as well, though. They were family after all. Ciel sighed and decided he'd rather not know whether or not his father loved his mother. He wondered instead of Sebastian would ever love him.

He closed his eyes. He hated this damn snow… He wanted Sebastian. He wanted Sebastian to hold him. He wanted Sebastian to kiss him. He wanted to hear his voice speak words of adoration and acceptance… Ciel wanted to have Sebastian let him in. He opened his eyes again. He had waited for four years… Four years since meeting the best thing that ever happened to him. He looked at the now snow covered mansion, which held his four servants. He had remembered telling them to burn the damn place when he tried to leave… thinking it almost ironic. They didn't, though. They waited patiently about their business determined to believe that Ciel and Sebastian would return. They did, six months after they had left. It was odd… Ciel actually had missed them. Being in Hell with Sebastian in the Michaelis Mansion he supposed was okay for a while, but… it was there Ciel realized how much he belonged back in his home. Sure enough, his goofy little family was there waiting in joy upon their return. Ciel knew that even though Sebastian wouldn't ever admit it, he too had missed the Phantomhive Estate and the servants within.

This was killing him, thinking of his butler. His perfect black hair, his beautiful demonic eyes, the smirk that could always make him happy, the hands that cared for him so… the voice that helped him rest at night. The movements, the style, and every damn thing about Sebastian he loved. He loved him when he was annoying. He loved him when he was perfect. He even loved him when he was obsessed with those stupid cats he thought Ciel didn't know about! He once was afraid he couldn't ever love, and now he loved so much it hurt! His love shook through him, it controlled him… he was love's bitch. He wondered then if love really ruled him, or was it fear. Ciel hadn't told him. He wanted to, every second of every day just pull his collar down and kiss him. To yell at him about how much he loved him. He can't complain because he didn't even ask for what he wanted. He was a Phantomhive, for crying out loud! Why didn't he tell him that he was in love with him? What was stopping him other than himself? He looked around the weather he hated and he decided simply… that nothing was stopping him. So he was done with nothing stopping him.

Ciel didn't know what it was about this stupid day, in this stupid weather, during this stupid winter… but he just felt it in his heart. Now was the time. Now was the moment. He didn't know why, but it just was. It was just the feeling within him, his instinct. He couldn't wait any longer.

The blue haired boy stood up from the cold bench and broke out into a run. He ran through the kitchen door of the manor past Bardroy watching him curiously and through the hallways not caring about the warmth hitting his cold body. He ripped the scarf from his face and looked around for the butler.

"Sebastian! Sebastian!" He yelled as he kept running, determined to not give up. To his shock, he didn't find him in his office, the library, not even in the servant's quarters.

"Where the hell could he have gone to!?" Ciel said annoyed.

"I believe he went outside, my lord." Regular Tanaka had said behind him with a light knowing smile.

"Of course he did… that would be exactly what Sebastian would do at a time like this. Thank you, Tanaka." He breathed out before going and running again to find him. Sure enough, in the front yard, Sebastian was shoveling snow off the pathway, doing his butler duties. Ciel couldn't help but love him for that, and hate how he was now slipping on the stupid ice beneath the shoveled snow straight towards him.

"Sebastian!" Ciel managed to call. The raven haired man's head whipped around and saw the blue haired boy sliding towards him, he pushed the shovel away from him and opened his arms, catching Ciel easily wrapping him into his warm arms, his scent blessing Ciel's nostrils.

"Young master? Is everything alright, why are you so-"

"Sebastian, silence." Ciel ordered ripping off his eye patch and instantly Sebastian's mouth closed. Ciel didn't let Sebastian go, though.

"I order you to listen and let me finish what I'm about to tell you, because it is very important." He said it very clearly, seeing his breath in the cold air as he spoke, feeling his face suddenly heat up being as close to his butler as he was.

"Yes, my lord?" Sebastian responded, obediently ready to listen, his eyes seeming to light up playfully as his so long missing smirk graced his lips. Ciel suddenly felt his cheeks burn read and a boulder of nerves drop in his stomach. His determination and bravery seconds before had seemed to diminish in an instant. Trying to regain his thoughts, he let the butler go and tried to take a step away. The shorter boy cleared his throat.

"Sebastian… You have been my butler for a long time, but you have been much more to me than just a butler. You have been my confidant, my protector, and even my friend… You have brought out a feeling in me that I had thought died a long time ago. You have made me feel a lot of things, actually. You've brought out passion and hope from the darkest part of me… and… you have given me the ability to care. To truly care for another person, even if that person is no person at all." Ciel seemed to once again feel that strength with every word that escaped his lips, the words he had longed to say for so long.

"My lord… Such sweet words, but I feel as if you are withholding more… You know I am your faithful servant to the end, please… tell me more." Sebastian responded, his smirk growing wider.

"Sebastian Michaelis… These aren't words I say lightly, and I've never said them before, not to anyone. Do not judge or use them against me, and that is an order. Sebastian… I am very much deeply, madly, devastatingly in love with you and have been for years." There it was. He had finally said it out loud to him. Ciel gathered his pride, stared the demon right in the eye, and told him the undeniable truth.

"Oh, young master… my young master." Sebastian breathed out, his breath showing in the freezing temperatures like a smoke stack from the chimney of a loving home. The raven haired man stepped to Ciel placing a gloved hand to one of his delicate cheeks, adoringly stroking his beautiful cheekbone with his thumb. Ciel was too stunned to speak, he could only breathe, watching his breath go against Sebastian's as if they were dancing. Ciel noticed white particles gently falling and melting on Sebastian's black hair as he realized it was beginning to snow again.

"S-Sebastian… I won't order the answer from you, I will simply ask it from you. How do you feel about me?" The boy was nervous, for sure. He had always wondered this.

"My lord, since the first second I sensed you, I had known you were different… You had been dragged through the darkest and murkiest puddles of mud society had to offer… at such a delicate young age, you were defiled, humiliated, even dehumanized… and yet, not for a second did you lose your pride. Your nobility and honor… You stayed a Phantomhive through and through, no amount of darkness could ever taint the purity of your soul, as bright and white as the snow. It is the reason I desire you, and the reason that I will forever be in love with you… You are the light in my darkness, Ciel." He rested his forehead against the shorter boys, his hands traveling to the arch of his master's back, lightly coaxing him towards Sebastian. Ciel let him and didn't even scold Sebastian for using his name. Ciel wrapped his arms around the taller man, finding more courage within him than he had realized existed, Ciel pressed his lips to Sebastian's.

Sebastian had no interest in an innocent, chaste kiss. He had waited too long to taste his love. He placed a foot behind Ciel's and lightly dipped the boy in the snow as he deepened their kiss holding him tightly. Sebastian's warm tongue touched Ciel's bottom lip and the boy opened his mouth and Sebastian greedily tasted the cavern, practically devouring it as Ciel ran his fingers into the demon's hair savoring the feeling of white hot passion burn inside of him. The feeling was so intense, he thought for sure it'd melt the snow around them. As the two demons continued their passionate and haunted kissing, Ciel decided in his mind that winter was his new favorite season.
