Me and my brother just moved to London. For some reason, our parents decided to live in Cardiff so now I will have to live with him or find a cheap flat. Perhaps I will take a walk and think about this.
Last time I was here I was 8 years old. And God, for 10 years, everything has changed so much. I feel like I have never been here.
I saw a girl with ginger hair walking in front of me. She looked amazingly familiar but I had no idea where I have met her if I even did. I started walking faster so I can see her face but she started staring at me so I turned around. At this moment, I heard someone saying my name. Actually, I didn't even think it could be her.
"Sherlock!"
I smiled I had no idea what's going on here.
"It's me! Amy!"
I felt like my whole life flashed in front of my eyes. So this was the little girl I met when I was 8. And this was the girl who asked me to play with her dolls. I really couldn't believe.
"You don't remember me."
"I do! Amelia Pond! You grew up."
I saw her smiling. Everything I could deduce was that she was happy and excited about something.
"You've been gone for so long! I thought you weren't going to come back."
"But I did."
"Do you want to have coffee? Or no, that's bad idea, I will…"
"Sure."
She was looking at me strangely, like I was awful person and I wasn't going to be good enough to do something different from deducing people's life all day.
We went to a small café. We talked for hours.
"So where were you?"
"We moved to Cardiff but now me and my brother came to live here. Perhaps I will find a flatmate or I will live with Mycroft."
"Good. Are you looking for a job or you are still studying?"
"I'm at college."
She was quiet for a moment, she was smiling and looking at an empty place.
"How are your parents?" I had no idea how to continue a conversation.
"They don't live in London anymore."
"Okay then sorry."
She looked at her clock, her smile faded out fastly.
"I got to go but here's my number so perhaps you can call me tomorrow or when you can."
"Sure. Do you want to me drive you home or?"
"No, It's fine."
"But you live far from here."
As I said this she smiled and walked away.
Next morning my mum texted me to come home as soon as I can.
I was driving to Cardiff slowly thinking about what happened. My phone rang. Unknown number.
"Hello?"
Everything was quiet.
