Her long black hair,
Framing her heart shaped face,
Big brown eyes,
Staring straight at me.
She scoops me into her arms,
Rocking me back and forth,
She strokes my hair,
And calls me her child.
I cuddle into her,
Her priestess powers floating about,
Wrapping around me,
In an invisible shield.
She stares into my green eyes,
Her hand pausing in mid-stroke,
I stared in confusion,
Until she spoke.
'My son' she called,
Her smile as radiant as the sun,
I smiled brightly as my tail twitched,
'Mommy' I said as I drifted off into blissful happiness.
A/N: This is just a really short poem between Kagome and Shippo and their familial love. Hope you enjoy.
