A young blonde crouched down in the dirt.

Her graceful hand waving to the red heat to try and keep her small fire going.

She swept a small lock of hair behind her hair and leaned back on the ground. Palms open and down, legs stretched, and dirty face positioned to the night sky, glittered and laced with shining white specks.

The crisp cool night air wrapped around the earth bender. She smiled.

Sometimes the only place you want to be is by yourself.

Her genuine smile quickly faded as fast as it came.

The only trouble was, what if you had too much time by yourself?

The girl rarely saw anybody for more than a couple days, then she was back out here. Alone.

She shook her head and leaned back forward, grabbing a blanket and wrapping herself up.

She liked being alone. She really did. And if no one was ever with her constantly she would never have to settle down and stay somewhere forever. And no one would ever find out her secret.

She clutched her knees close and rested her head on the caps, staring deeply into the fire.

No one would ever know that it was her fault that caused those things to happen.

The…accidents.

She stared harder into the heat, as if trying to find the answers to her life somewhere in the crackling flames.

But then again, she really was lonely. Years being on the road, going where the wind takes her, (as she likes to say) can be exhausting and really freak a girl out.

She sighed; As the night went on she found herself thinking of where she should go next.

North?

South?

East?

Or West?

She laid her heart shaped head on her backpack, facing the fire once again.

She thought about which direction she felt like running towards.

She thought about which one would let her cause the least damage.

She thought about which one would accept her.

The blonde geomancer couldn't think of one of them more than the others.

So she picked one at random.

West.

Yeah, West sounds nice.

The sun sets in the west.

And so does Terra.
