One Piece is not mine.

Author's note: I got some really great responses from my other OP fic so I figured that I would (after catching up) do some other shorts concerning Robin and Zoro. This is set during ep 318 with mama Zoro. Enjoy!

Oh Mama!

'Damn it, how the hell did I get stuck doing this?' Zoro grumbled to himself after evading and escaping his nakama. There was no way in hell that he was gonna be caught dead carrying bags and babies around town. All he needed to do was get back to the old lady's place dump the rug rats and head back to the others. As long as no one saw him he could escape without a mark to his manly honour, and avoid the sting of meaningful glances and snickering.

"Damn, I'm tired." Zoro groaned, breathing a sigh of relief thinking he had evaded his nakama.

"Looks pretty rough," was the feminine reply, Zoro thinking nothing of it continued to openly rant until the words finally set in. Yelping, his eyes met Robin's smiling ones, in mortification.

Zoro quickly pushed Robin into the alleyway, knowing that where she was Nami wasn't far behind, and sure enough Nami began to call out Robin's name. Zoro stopped mid breath hoping against hope that Nami wouldn't head in their direction.

When the coast was clear Zoro allowed himself to breath, and turned to Robin. Her serine smile was directed solely at him, an amused light to her eyes that had the hard core swordsman gulping in hesitation. Zoro hadn't wanted any of his nakama to see him toting kids and food in an orange shirt labelled 'mama' because there was no way for him to live down the embarrassment. Robin on the other hand was another matter, unless he let it slip himself she would never tell anyone but the fact that someone as cool, mature and alluring as her, knowing what a fool he could be was even worse.

During the fight for her life in Enies Lobby Zoro had grown a great deal of respect for Robin and her personal strength. She had been willing to die in order to save their lives and that kind of honour, though misplaced among their nakama, was a great strength. As nakama they were there for one another and fighting to the death to save once another was part and parcel of being a Straw-Hat.

She had stood, beautiful blue eyes filled with tears and demanded that she live and travel with them once again. That kind of strength and determination was a desirable trait that had dreams of her joining him in his bed ruining his nights, though he caught up on the rest during the day. But after this there might not be the bewitching blue eyes gazing up at him and moans of pleasure, but instead giggles and tears of mirth to replace them. Zoro groaned in defeat.

Robin continued to smile as Zoro continued to contemplate her person. His face was already ringed with red and made him all the more the youth that his age demanded, though many times throughout Enies Lobby proved that he was more the adult then others. Zoro had stood out on the rampart and demanded in his silence that she return with them. Much like the others, there was something about being a part of Luffy's nakama that filled the gaping hole that the destruction of Ohara had left. And looking at the poor self-conscious swordsman, Robin knew where she finally belonged.

Deciding that enough time had passed that Nami would not see such a 'spectacle' Robin took her leave, though one more jab was not against her morals. "It suits you." Seemed to fit and gave the swordsman such a flushed face that it would bring smiles to Robin's face for years if not forever, because in reality Zoro would make a grand if not stern father, one day. Robin left with a giggle while Zoro watched in uncomfortable silence.
