The last night of the 70's hit everyone in ways they weren't expecting. Kitty hadn't expected to start crying while talking to each one of her kids, Donna didn't expect her old feelings for Eric to spill out of her so quickly and Bob wasn't expecting the Foreman's to announce that they weren't moving to Florida after all. But it all ended wonderfully and that's all that mattered.

The kids all went down to the basement after all the excitement died down and had one more circle before the rest of their lives changed. When everyone went their separate ways at the end of the night, Donna stayed behind in the living room where Kitty and Red where watching TV, uncharacteristic of them because of the time.

Looking up at the now blonde haired girl she had considered her daughter for so long, Kitty noted she looked a little unsure of herself, like she wanted to say something, but wasn't sure if she should.

"Is everything okay, honey?" she asked from where she was sitting, snuggled into Red's side with her legs resting on the couch next to her.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Donna said, pulling herself out of her thoughts. She wasn't sure how she was going to say what she wanted to say. Before saying anything more, she sat down next to the woman who had stepped in as her mother when Midge left.

"Do you feel okay?" Kitty asked, worry creeping into her voice as she moved around on the couch and set her feet back down on the ground. She leaned close to Donna and moved a piece of hair out of her face.

"Yeah, I feel fine," Donna said as she looked at Kitty and smiled, softly laughing. "It's just, what you said earlier. Do you really mean it?"

"Oh, honey," Kitty said as she scooted closer to Donna, wrapped her arm around the younger woman's shoulders and pulled her in for a hug. Donna hugged the woman who had been so sweet, kind and considerate to her over the years and smiled at Red, who was watching the scene in front of him unfold. He was always so surprised at how much patience and love Kitty had for all of Eric's dumb ass friends, even the kettlehead. "Of course I do, sweetie." Red smirked as he watched Donna pull away and wipe tears from her eyes. Kitty let out a laugh, tears also in her eyes.

Red heard her sniffle softly and rolled his eyes before saying, "Oh, god." He planted a kiss on Kitty's head and another one on Donna's head as he stood up and went to leave the room. "I'm going to leave before this turns into full out waterworks," he added.

"Goodnight, Mr. Foreman," Donna said as she rested her back into the couch, replaying what just happened in her head.

"I'll be up there soon, honey," Kitty said as she followed what Donna did and rested into the couch.

"Don't stay up too late," Red warned. Kitty crinkled her nose and gave Red a funny face. Red laughed and rolled his eyes again as he walked up the stairs and went into the bedroom he and his wife shared.

"How weird was tonight?" Donna asked with a laugh after a minute or two of silence.
"I know, I felt every emotion I could have possibly felt," Kitty said in her usual happy tone, letting out a Kitty laugh. Without another word, Donna rested her head against Kitty's shoulder, who in turn wrapped her arm around Donna's shoulders.

"Thank you," Donna said quietly. "For everything."

"You're welcome, sweetheart," Kitty replied. The two of them then just stayed there quietly for the rest of the night, both eventually falling asleep with Donna in Kitty's arms.
