Ven POV

I walked down the beach to see Del chasing after her dog, Wolfie. "Wolfie, Wolfie get back here!" she hollered as she chased after the husky. I got him by his trailing leash and dragged him back to her. "Ven, thank you if I had lost Wolfie…" she trailed off as she grinned like an idiot. We tied the leash to a tree and sat under the shade.

Del POV

I sat, tied Wolfie to the tree, and pulled Ven down into the sand with me, grinning like an idiot. Ever since Ven and I had started dating, my life had gotten so much better. He had first asked me a few days after I went to his house crying. I looked over at him and smiled, curling into his side. He put an arm around my shoulder as we watched the clouds. This is what we called dates, just hanging out, being together. But we went on real dates too. "Del?" I shot up and saw Riku staring at me. "Riku, what do you want?" I spat as I stood up. "I'm just surp-""Surprised after you broke up with me, because you think I should be in my room bawling? Well, I'm not, I'm lying here on the beach with my boyfriend, Ven," I said as he backed away. "Boyfriend?" "Yes, Ventus, my boyfriend, what's it to you?" "What is he, your rebound?" I snapped and smacked Riku across the face. "How dare you say that about him! He would never be my rebound; he makes me feel better than you ever did Riku!" I shouted as I pushed him. "Just leave us alone Riku!" Ven wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me back before I kicked Riku's jaw. Riku left and we sat back in the sand, I leaning against Ven's side as he traced patterns on my palm. "Am I your rebound Del?" My head shot up and I stared at him in the eye. "Ven, no, how would you believe that? I've always loved you Ventus, I just never realized how much until now." I stared into his blue eyes and hugged him as tightly as possible. "I don't know a time when I didn't love you, but I will never stop loving you Ventus."
