Del POV
I ran through Destiny Island alley ways, tears streaming down my face. Finally I got to Ven's house. I climbed the trails to his window. I tapped it three times and it sled open noisily. I looked up at Ven and he pulled me through the window onto his bed. "What happened, Del?" he whispered as he traced patterns on the palm of my hand. "I…I don't know Ven. I walked over to Riku's house this morning and he didn't want to talk to me in front of his family. So he took me out onto the front porch and I, I thought he was going to tell me he, you know, loved me. But he told me he didn't want us to date anymore, because he said I let my emotions control everything I did. We started arguing and he got angry, so he pushed me and I fell down the porch steps. He tried to help me, but I just got up and ran." The last word came out in a cry as I sobbed into my hands. His grip tightened around my hand and he held me close. I looked up at him through my lashes and threw my arms around his neck. "Ventus, you are the best friend I ever had. If anything ever happened to you, I would die," I whispered as he hugged me back. "I would never leave Del, you know that." He pulled back and kissed my nose making me giggle like a little girl. Only Ven could make me giggle like that, except for Terra when he tickled me.
