The Reason For Everything is a ode (a poem) to Itachi. It is in the perspective of a girl that Itachi left behind.
Summary: Hate, Anger, Fear... The emotions he brings to people. But who could have thought that Love was one of them... He IS her only reason.. Her one and only reason for everything...
Disclaimer: I do not own Uchiha Itachi, nor do I own Naruto (the anime he is from). I do, however, own the character who refers to herself as 'I', as her name was never mentioned in the poem and I do not plan to name her any time soon, unless I decide to write a story base on the poem later on (but that's unlikely to happen).
The Reason For Everything
Red eyes watching me, staring into my soul
Every night every day, I would see your pair of eyes
Watching me like a predator to a prey
I see your face everywhere but never do I see you
Oh, why you leave, can't you see how I missed you?
You are what keeps me living
Just like a flower without water
I would wither away without you
Can you see now, how much I need you?
Those eyes of yours, as red as blood
Reminds me of my love for you
The soul of yours, as dark as night
Reminds me of the hardships of my love
Everything I do, reminds me of you
Every thought, leads me to you
My whole world revolves around you
Can you see how much I need you?
You are the light in this dark world of mine
You are the glue that holds my world together
Without you, my world would shatter
Without you, my life would have no meaning
You are my everything, my only reason to live

Itachi is my favourite characters.. Have been my favourite for quite a while and he will continue to be my favourite character even though he... I better not say anything, some people might kill me if I write any spoilers here -casting a sidewards glance at Emi-
