He was doing it again.
Bender was stealing her boyfriends attention, again.
Leela watches as Bender leans over and whispers something into Fry's ear, and makes him burst into a fit of giggles. It's adorable and makes her heart flutter but the fact that it was Bender that made it happen just ticks her off.
Leela would like to say she wasn't the jealous type, but she knows it would be a lie. She sometimes she wanted to punch anyone that even glanced at Fry in a friendly manner.
But she's not the jealous one this time.
Bender is.
It started when Bender found out about their relationship, he had started giving Fry more affection than what was normal for them.
Fry had told her about what went on between Bender and himself before they officially became a thing. That the two were in a relationship that wasn't really one at all. They had weird date nights at home and kissed on a rare occasion. But they were allowed to date others. Fry also explained Bender only agreed to it so he had someone to give him romantic attention when the fembots weren't around.
Fry believed this to be the only reason.
Leela did not.
She was fine with the odd relationship, really, so long as it didn't mess with her and Fry's.
But the fact is that in the two weeks that passed, Bender had interrupted five movies, three dinners, and one almost perfect sex night, just to drag Fry away for some stupid shenanigans. And yesterday she witnessed Bender turn down the chance to screw around with some hussybots, just to hang out with Fry. She knows this is deliberate.
So Leela fully intends to strike back with full force.
The question is how?
