Carmen was lying in the hospital bed cradling her brand new baby boy. Pavel brought the girls in, and they all cooed over the tiny baby boy. Carmen smiled and let them sit on the bed.
Ana: Momma does he have a name yet?
Carmen: Yes Hun. His name is Eric Joseph Delko.
Marisol: Awww it suits him.
Ana: Momma can I hold him?
Carmen: Yes sweetie you can all take turns holding him.
Ana took the tiny bundle from her mom's arms. She cradled him in her arms and kissed the tip of his nose. She held him for a while then gave him to Isabel. She rocked him gently in her arms singing a Spanish lullaby. She kissed his cheek, and gave him to Marisol. She Held the baby close to her and, lay down against her mom's chest. They relaxed, and Eric slept peacefully. After five minutes he woke up and began crying.
Marisol: Momma why is he crying?
Carmen: Sweetie he needs a diaper change and feeding.
Marisol: Can I do it momma?
Carmen: Let Daddy help though.
Marisol: Ok.
She changed her little brother, and got him a bottle. She fed Eric and Pavel showed her how to burp him. They put him in the bassinet, and they all relaxed and let the baby sleep.
