A day and a half into the trip I have decided that Allecto isn't as useless as she lets on. Not that I'd tell anyone.

When we were swimming, I realized how beautiful she is. She hides her figure under her uniform. I don't see why. She is a strange one though.

When she's alone -or rather thinks she's alone- Allecto is a rather interesting person. If she doesn't think I'm paying attention, she sings or hums. Ikhny's voice is lovely. Sure she's different, but in my eyes she's perfect.
Absolutely unpredictable
Yes, perfect. Nothing less than that; how could she be? At night, she doesn't know it, but I watch her sleep. The way the moonlight hits her face makes her seem almost otherworldly.

Maybe she isn't human at all. It is entirely possible she's an angel. Maybe she was sent here to save my soul from the demons of my mind. She's unusually unusual
I hope she never leaves me. I couldn't bear to lose her. Allecto is my sanity. She is the only thing that keeps me from overworking myself. She keeps me alive.

If she does all of that for me, then why do I treat her so badly? Fear. Yes, fear is what drives me to do so. She is so fragile. I fear I will hurt her. I suppose I could take a chance. I have nothing to lose.

She is walking back to camp. I'm behind her, but she doesn't hear me. I wrap my arms around her from behind -gently though so as not to frighten me angel. She jumps. I tell her that we need to talk. She nods.

I smile. She listened to me. Ikhny said that after the week ended, if I hadn't changed, she was going to leave. I would have lost her for good. She understands now. Everything will be okay. I kissed her and she didn't pull away. That is a good sign.

Then trip ended. I feel much better now that I've been relieved of my burden. She loves me. I'm free. Now we'll be together forever and an eternity. I won't let her go. I nearly lost her once because of my own fears; I won't lose her again.
