Why I Love My Zuko-Muffin
A list of reasons why I love Zuko
1. I can call him whatever the heck I want, e.g. Zuzu; Prince Zuzu; Zukes; the Zukes; Zuke; the Zuke-monger; Gadzukes; Zuko-Muffin; Baby; Babe; Babes; Sweetie; Sweetheart; Sweetcake; Mubs; the Mubs; Mubbins, Bubbins, Shnubbins, etcetera; My Prince; and anything else I can conjure up.
2. He is so eager to please and offers his hand to everyone he meets.
3. He always looks like he's smiling.
4. He gives me kisses—whether I'm in the mood for them or not.
5. He's very calm and gentle.
6. And yet so playful if you tease him enough.
7. He doesn't realize his own strength. (I am constantly amazed by his muscle power.)
8. He'll let you hug him whenever you want.
9. He loves chasing after small animals. Including my pet bird. So I have to keep them separated.
10. He lets me massage him all over.
11. His favorite spot to be scratched isn't his back, which is normal. He likes it right in front of his ears, kind of on his temples.
12. He has such a long tongue it amazes me—and makes me laugh. 'Cause I can stick out my tongue and he'll do it in response. He looks like such a clown.
13. He's very good and always asks before leaving the house.
14. He loves me back. I'm sure of it. Even if he doesn't show it all the time.
And those are the basic reasons for why I love my Zuko, the best German Shepherd/Husky dog the world's ever seen.
