Disclaimer: I do not own Avatar. If I did, boy, would this be one interesting episode!
A/N: When I was watching DOBS, when Azula was talking about Suki, I decided to make a oneshot about it! D Yay!
Also, I might make a few sequels to this... And sorry its short.
Oh, and I took the title from my favorite song 'Somebody to Love'. I'm obsessed with it xD
And the sequels will probably be other lines from that song.
On with the fanfic!

Suki sat on the floor of her prison cell. Cold, dark, damp. Those were the only words that could describe it. Suki's hair had grown out, and grew very shaggy, much like Iroh's. She knew she had to get out. But how?
She heard a door open. It was too early for breakfast. Who could it be? She saw a stream of light shine on the floor of her cell, with dark streaks from the bars.
"Suki. Darling. How are you this evening?" She heard a cruel voice taunt.
"Azula," Suki began, "why don't you just kill me now? Why make me suffer?"
"You said it yourself. Your little hero's gonna come and save you. I just can't wait for that day." Azula said, looking at her long, sharp nails.
Her hero. Sokka. "Sokka will come!" Suki protested.
"Well, you just missed him. I chased him and his little friends off."
Toph, Aang, Katara… They were all here. Why didn't they come and rescue her? "Did they… Defeat him?" She asked curiously. She was referring to the Fire Lord.
"Never got past me. Little weaklings…" Suki frowned. "But that Sokka guy, when I mentioned you…" Azula said slowly and tauntingly. "He said he didn't care. He said the Fire Lord was the only one he'd be seeing. He said you were weak, and could never escape. And if they freed you, you'd just get captured again. He was just toying with your emotions." Azula said.
Suki stared at the floor. Sokka thought… she was weak? She didn't speak. How could she? She couldn't find the right words.
"And he said his one true love, was the moon… I don't know what that means." Azula said tauntingly.
"Stop it! Stop it now!" Suki said. She was weak enough as it was, and this was just tearing her apart. Yue. He told her once that he tried to save her, but couldn't. And that she was the moon spirit.
"Sorry, darling. Guess you need a new hero." Azula said, and started walking away. Suki sat there motionless. "Sokka… Why?" She asked herself, tears streaming down her face.
"Don't listen to her." One of her friends, Lara, said. Suki looked up and across the room, to her friends (and teammates) trapped in the cells far away from her.
Suki couldn't speak. She turned away, and started to cry.
Her friends couldn't bear to see her like that. They knew Sokka loved her. Why would he do this to her?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Sokka stared at the slowly disappearing castle. "I was so close to her… And I let her down." He said.
"You did all you could. You'll find her next time." Haru said reassuringly.
"Haru's right Sokka. I'm sure Suki still has hope that you'll save her." Katara said, putting an arm around her brother.
Sokka was still hurt. He looked up at the disappearing moon. He let two of his friends, and loves, down. How could he live with himself?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Suki wasn't going to wait for someone to come and save her. She had to do it herself.
A/N: Please reveiw! And let me know if you have any ideas for a sequel... xD
