Behind every great Man

"Odin, all he wanted was our love and attention. Can we really be upset with him for that?" Frigg, goddess of Asgard, said attempting to reason with her husband.

It was an argument that they held every night since the return of their son, Loki, who as locked in restraints and immediately placed in a cell in the most horrible prison in all the nine realms. It was meant to hold the most dangerous criminals that the realms had to offer usually indicted for crimes against the humanity of the realms. Not a misunderstood boy.

"No, I suppose not. Even though we gave him just as much love as Thor and the others, I suppose it's in a child nature to want more." Odin sighed, understanding his wife's point. For that they could not but upset with Loki.

"Then why must we punish him?"

"You know better than I," Odin roared, angry that his wife would ask such a question. No, they could not be upset for Loki's reasons, but for his actions? Yes he could. "He went too far! Putting both the realms of Asgard and Midgard and danger, and he now must face the consequences."

"But in such a manner." Frigg felt was too cruel. "Does it really help him? Especially if what he said to us earlier was true. All this would be in vain, would it not?"

"If he was truly not working along, and there was in fact another more powerful being pulling the strings and using him as a pawn, then do you not believe we have more important issue to focus on besides how Loki is punished?"

"Yes we do, but what if both problems can be solved at once."

"What foolish ideal is in your head women?"

"Send him to Midgard as you did Thor."

"Are you sane women? Do you not think Midgard has had enough problems from our son and now you wish me to send him back so he may continue?"

"He does not have to have free rein. Remove his powers just as you did to Thor and allow fate to watch over him."

"Women you are insane if you-"

" The people of Midgard seem to have a peculiar power that goes unnoticed by many who are from outside the realm. I believe it would do well to expose Loki to this power." Frigg continued as if uninterrupted.

"I don't care Frigg; Loki will remain where he is at so that he can cause no more problems for the people of Asgard or Midgard."

Especially Midgard.

It went unspoken, but Frigg understood her husband clearly. The more attacks occurred upon Midgard, the chances that veil hiding the most destructive force in all the nine reams will dissipate was high, but in Frigg's mind that was necessarily a bad thing.

"It may not be such a problem if it happens." Frigg said, addressing her husband's real fears.

"Frigg-"

"Odin, God of Asgard, why do you doubt me, Frigg goddess of Asgard and the one who holds the power of wisdom and foresight. I wish no harm to be fall any realm –"

"Then why do you wish to release that power?"

"Because I find it necessary dear Odin."

"Necessary!"

"Yes, necessary. Necessary for the future of all nine realms: Jotunheim, Alfheim, Muspelheim, Vanaheim, Nidavellir, Svartalfheim, Asgard, Hel and Midgard. But, my dear husband, do as you wish and as you see fit, after all you are Odin, God of Asgard, while I am Just Frigg goddess of Asgard who holds the powers that allowed your victory in your many battles. "

With that, Frigg left their chambers allowing her husband to think upon all her words, lingering behind long enough to her husband call upon the Guards to their chambers.

"Release Loki, and bring him to me!"

Her role was finished for now.
