"Ughh it's hot in here!"

"Gross who farted!!!"

"Are we there yet??"

I sat there looking out the window, as the over crowded and over heated bus drove down the empty nothingness we were going to. Most of the kids were complaining about

the uncomfortable situation we were going through. But what else can you expect out of bus full of restless kids. I was sitting next to the cutest little boy ever; he had to only be

about seven or eight.

"Hi! I'm Jimmy what's you're name" the little boy asked me with a toothy grin. I smiled back and giggled a little, what can I say I have a soft spot for little kids. "Hey Jimmy,

I'm Delilah. How old are you?" I asked back "Eight!" I smiled at his cheerfulness "That's pretty sweet, I'm 15" he nodded and we talked some more. Jimmy was a really cute

kid, and pretty smart for an eight year old.

Finally! The bus had stopped and we could get out now. Almost immediately I felt someone grab my hand, I looked down to see Jimmy standing close to me and looking

around. I nudged him a little. "Excited?" he nodded "And a little scared" I smiled and looked up at a man around his twenties or thirties in a plaid red shirt and blue jean, He

introduced himself as Jonathan. He explained to us we would have four leaders, or town council as he put it.

A helicopter came down and surely enough four kids walked out of it. One was a boy with blonde hair, glasses and a cowboy hat, his name was Mike and he was eleven years

old, next was Laurel a red headed girl with braces, she was twelve, then an Indian boy named Anjay who was also twelve, and lastly was a cute little ten year old girl with

brown hair named Taylor. Wow I feel so old right now I thought to myself. All these kids were so young. Then Jonathan informed us that Bonanza City was just a few miles

down the road. He pointed to some wagons full of supplies. There was nothing to pull them along though.

Oh great

Since I was older, and obviously stronger than some other kids I pulled a wagon, with the help of Greg and some other kids, I don't know yet. We had been walking for a while

and it was getting pretty hot. "Man it's getting hot" I stated folding up my shirt a little so it wasn't covering my stomach. Greg looked at me and laughed "That's because you're

next to me" I laughed and shook my head "Wow your smooth, you say that to all the girls?" he just smiled at me and pushed the cart further.

"DK! Are you alright?" I heard someone yell faintly.

I snapped my head the left to look over my shoulder. There was DK clutching his leg, on the ground, his face filled with pain. Leaving the handlebar to Greg, I rushed over to

where there was a circle formed around DK. I pushed my way through everybody and knelt down before his leg. I squeezed it slightly, asked him if it hurt, then told him that he

should probably stop walking until we get to town. He nodded as Greg pulled him up to sit on the wagon.

The rest of the struggle there wasn't too bad other than mike telling everyone to keep going when he wasn't doing anything, but besides that I met a ten year old boy named

Zack, and a girl named Sophia. They both seemed to be interesting characters, and good friends to have during this adventure as I like to call it.

"Hey, guys! There's Bonanza City right over there!" I heard Taylor exclaim happily.

THANK YOU GOD!!!
