Catherine stared at herself in the mirror, she was tired, looked like a mess and was nervous as hell. Yeah, Vincent and her were madly in love of each other and yeah they were a couple. But still she had no idea of how he was going to take the news and that's what made her super nervous. Plus it was going to show in a few months and her friends and family will start asking question. Holy hell i am screwed ! She thought as she anxiously passed her hand in her hair. She tested four pregnancy test and they all came out positive. She was going to have a baby, Vincent's baby. Even if she was happy to know that little human being (kind off) was growing inside her, she didn't know how she was going to deal with all this. How was she supposed to tell her child that Vincent couldn't go out in daylight like everybody because it was too dangerous for him. Suddenly she thought about the fact that maybe the baby had been touched by the super-soldier serum and that thought scared the living hell out of her. She put her hand protectively on her stomach and then heard Vincent's voice calling out for her.

Her heart began to race and her hands became wet. She came out slowly out of her bathroom to enter her bedroom and smiled when she saw Vincent sitting on her bed.

"Hey" he said before smiling lovingly at her."I missed you all day"

She came near him and he encircled her with his arms, pulling her even closer to him. He bent down and kissed her sweetly on the lips, she kissed back as she wrapped her arms around his neck. She loved being in his arms it felt like home and she felt complete. After a few more kisses they both needed air so they pulled away. But soon all Cat could feel was guilt, she couldn't just stay silent, she had to tell him after all it was his baby too. Vincent frowned when he heard her heartbeat beating even faster than it was a few minutes ago.

"What's wrong Cat ?" He asked as caressed her cheek softly.

"I...I've got something to tell you" she started nervously, "and it's pretty big so it's hard for me to...let it out"

"What is it, you know you can tell me everything"

"Yeah I do it's just ..."

Don't you dare cry Cat ! She told herself.

"I...I'm...pregnant" she said so softly that he almost missed it.

But he didn't and his beautiful brown eyes widened when she said it. He stared at her, not understanding how it could happen, how it was even possible. His gaze then moved to his stomach where their baby was. He didn't sayanythingbecause he didn't know what to say, he was so surprised and stunned ! So he simply smiled, a huge happy smile on his face.

"That's so amazing !"H e said still looking at her stomach.

"Wha..So you're not mad ?" She asked in a hopeful tone.

"No of course not ." He said enthusiastically " I know that it won't be easy,but i swear Catherine, I will do whatever it takes to keep this baby safe, our baby"

"Yeah our baby" she said before kissing him again.

Some people start the new year with plans and some others start the new year knowing that they will be parents soon !

Voilà! Hope you guys like this little one shot. I made it cause i wanted a cute pregnancy one shot to start the year and i tought Vincent and Catherine were the perfect couple for it.
