Alright, let's get this nice straight and easy. I don't own Wolf's Rain; that's pretty obvious. For one, I would be typing on a much better computer, because this one is getting old. And if I did own Wolf's Rain, I wouldn't change the way it is now. It's a beautiful story the way it is.

Well enough of my ranting. You may realize, those of you who are reading, that this poem is, at least in my mind, written about Tsume. From that standpoint, please read accordingly. And also read accordingly that I do not take plot as instant gospel. I don't change plot for the fun of it, but when I see it would be best fit to serve my fic to change something, I will do it. Please do not flame me for plot reasons.

Name of the World

Wolf

Don't run anymore

From the one in the waters

Staring back with amber eyes

Your road is long and dark of yet

And you cannot walk it alone

Grey Desperado

Do not deny

What your heart,

Though high in the fortress tower

Calls to you with its sweet songs

Of a forgotten heaven.

Renegade Heart

Runs so far from the pack

Eyes full of disdain

Snarl at the seeming naivety of others

And yet still, you're here standing

To ask yourself why.

Night Rider

Running from somewhere to somewhere

From nowhere to nowhere

English crawl through rapids

Than paddle through the easy stream

What truth are you seeking

In the moons astral secrets

That is not in front of your nose

On this Mother beneath your paws?

Wild Spirit

Listen close for the paths of your freedom

Journey beyond rising sun

Though never knowing where the road may end

Will can carry you ever forward

If only on the wings of faith.

Wanderer

Let your heart guide you

Hope is not so blind to you

Though the perilous mist of doubt is thick

Somewhere, dim light is shining

In front of you, behind you

Wherever you may be

Drifter

What is your purpose?

Can you not see what every day

Your open eyes will show so clear

If only your mind will follow?

Don't deny your name.

And cry out the name of the world.

Wolf

Don't run anymore

From the one in the waters

Staring back with amber eyes

Your road is long and dark of yet

And you cannot walk it alone.
