A/N: I'm actually updating on the right day for once, this probably isn't going to be the best and it will be short. The real mega evolution shorts are barely 2 minutes so there isn't a lot I can do here, but enjoy anyway!

Mairin here! I just got back to Kalos and re-united with Alain so I haft to write about the strongest mega evolved pokemon I have ever seen. The Pokemon I will be talking about today is Mega Rayquaza, which is the mega evolved form of Rayquaza

In Hoenn Alain and I were lucky and unfortunate to see Mega Rayquaza. The Hoenn champion, Steven Stone, and Alain found a huge stone in some ruins in Hoenn. When they were there Steven and Alain used their keystones and found a big rock. While Alain's boss, Lysander, and his crew were collecting data on the rock it started to thunder. Then Rayquaza emerged from the dark clouds in the sky.

Rayquaza was really mad at us so he started to destroy the ruins! Not even mega Charizard or mega Metagross could stop him.

Rayquaza soon fled and took the rock with him, that rock must have been Rayquaza's mega stone, I had never seen a stone so big in my life.

The next day when Primal Kyogere and Primal Groudon were having a battle that almost destroyed the world, Rayquaza came back down from the sky to stop them. The legendary conflict finally ended once Rayquaza mega stone was taken away. I'm glad Rayquza was able to stop the fighting but seeing legendary pokemon when they are mad. But it doesn't matter what Pokemon can mega evolve, Mega Evolution is still cool!

Alain had come back into his room at the pokemon center to find his female companion, Mairin, sleeping on the floor. She had worn out crayons all around her and her face had some color on her face from resting her head on the pictures she drew in her little book.

Alain carefully picked up the notebook, her illustration were smudged from skin contact and tears. Alain read through the journal entry then looked down at Mairin. He knew she was scared of Rayquaza, that was part of the reason he tried to leave her back in hoenn. Seeing tears in the sleeping girl's eyes made him realise something. Leaving her won't protect her, if she stays by his side he can protect her. In order to protect her Alain told himself he had to become stronger.

Alain lifted Mairin off of the ground and into his arms, she was pretty light to Alain. He laid Mairin in her bed and tucked her in. Without really thinking Alain then leaned down and kissed her colorful cheek. "I won't let anything happen to you."

Alain then turned off the lights and got into his bed, both Alain and Mairin had pleasant dreams that night.

A/N: It's Marissonshipping week, there had to be some fluffy romance SOMEWHERE. Also let's pretend Mairin is like 12 or 13 and Alain is 15 or 16 so this seems less creepy…

When this week is over I might just put all of these one-shots into one story so I don't have 7 one-shots sitting around on my profile.
