Eric Delko awoke to find that the other side of the bed was empty but still warm. He bet on his life that she was making coffee. He sluggishly got out of bed, she was the morning person not him. He pulled on a pair of sweat pants and headed out to their kitchen. He saw his magnificent blond girlfriend standing in the middle of their kitchen with a cup of coffee in her hand. His was sitting on the counter next to her. He walked up behind her and hugged her.

"Good morning sleepyhead." Calleigh said in her sweet southern accent.

"Thanks for the coffee." He said grabbing his coffee and taking a sip, perfect as always.

"It's the only way to get you up for work." She laughed.

He groaned, he really didn't want to go to work today, he had to appear in court about a case.

"oh don't groan, you found that piece of evidence. It will be a slam dunk putting him behind bars for killing his family." She said knowing that if he hadn't found the gun and the mans epithelials on the rope then that man would walk. "I laid out your suit for court."

"Thanks babe you're the best."

"I know"

He headed out to work before she did. He had to meet with Horatio to talk about the case and then get to the court house. She went to their room remembering how she fell in love with it when they were buying the house. No one knew about their relationship except Horatio. Horatio had been there to help them move in. She didn't know what she or Eric would do without Horatio. She headed toward the master bathroom to shower. She loved her bathroom almost as much as she loved her huge walk in closet. Eric had a tiny corner of the closet. Well he had a corner and a drawer, but that's all he needed. She laughed at how funny Horatio thought that was.

When she was dressed and about to leave she found a package addressed to Eric on the porch. She put it on the table and left for work. She found it strange but didn't think to much about it.

When she arrived at work she saw Horatio talking to Eric, they were probably getting ready for court. Eric saw her and smiled at her. She smiled back and headed to her office. She found a note on her desk explaining her assignment for today. A dead body had been found in an old woman's pool last night and apparently the night shift did a crappy job of doing their job. She had to go over there and see if there was anything they looked over which was probably the entire crime scene. Those people couldn't find their ass with both hands let alone properly go over a crime scene.

After work they both headed home. They were both extremely tired and got fast food on the way home.

When they got home Eric noticed the package sitting on the hallway table.

"Hey cal whats this."

"I don't know it was on our porch today so I put it on the counter."

"It doesn't have a return address kinda fishy, Ill open it tomorrow"

"Maybe you should open it now." Calleigh said a bit worried now that she was thinking about it more "Or at least promise me you'll open it at the office and print it."

"Ok babe." Eric said completely understanding her reasoning. He would do anything to keep her safe. Even if that meant printing fishy evidence.

"I love you."

"Love you too"

And with that the two exhausted CSI's headed off to bed.
