" may I st-stay overnight in th-the arcade?"
gasped when he saw my blood-stained body, he quickly rushed me inside and sat me on a stool. He went to the backroom and brought out a first aid kit. He pushed my bangs away from my face and put a bandage over my eye. I heard him sigh as he cleaned my wounds from my right arm.
"Rose did your dad hit you again?"
I stiffened and felt tears threatening to come out, but I forced them away.
"Yes…"
He sighed deeply as he finished bandaging all of my wounds. He went back to the backroom and came back with a sleeping bag and a small dark blue box. He placed them beside me, "Here is the sleeping bag and come here so I can show you something…" I walked towards him wincing at the pain of walking. I sat across him and looked at the box with curiosity; the box was made of silk and looked pricey. He opened it to reveal a necklace, I gasped, it was a chain but in the center there was a key: They key were pure gold and in the back of it, my full name was engraved. He handed it to me and got up: heading for the exit.
"Wait! - Mr. Litwak the box dates 2000! That year I was borned how could have you known my full name?!"
Mr. Litwak paused on the door handle
"Rosette I know these games are more than what they seem, I think you will discover that soon enough…"
He left then, leaving me dumbfounded, and grasping the key like it was for dear life. I suddenly felt the key grow very warm; I looked at the ceiling suddenly feeling very dizzy and fainted.
o.o.o.o.o.
I woke up to feel that I was being carried, at first I kept my eye's closed not bothering about when I heard talking.
"Vanellope stop trying to get the gold key out of her hand!"
"-But Ralph we can be rich!"
"-And we would be stealing!"
"Fine…"
I opened my eyes and kicked Ralph in the stomach. He gasped in pain and shock, I jumped from his grasp and pushed away from a surprised Vanellope. I ran and didn't stop, ignoring their angry shouts. As I was running, I felt the need to stop. I opened my hand to still see the key, sparkling and bright.
"What did I get myself into now?"
