Cas didn't dance.
He wasn't graceful enough for that. Dean, on the other hand, was swaying to the music playing in the background of the diner.
They were the only ones there. The demon had long since been killed.
Sammy was out back cleaning up the evidence.
Cas was thinking about what the late demon had just said about the new baddy in town when Dean took his hand and tugged. Cas, being unprepared, followed and landed with an "oomph" against Dean's chest.
Dean smirked, laughing at Cas' wide and confused eyes.
"What are you doing, Dean?" Cas asked.
"What's it look like?"
"We appear to be dancing."
"Yup."
"I don't dance, Dean."
"Well you are right now, come on, just sway to the music."
Cas blushed and attempted to follow Dean's lead.
However, now that Cas was aware of their new activity, he began to be more ungraceful by the second from his over thinking.
"You're being too conscious of your moves!" Dean complained. "Just listen to the music, come on, feel it in your bones."
After more coaching, Cas began to relax, focusing on Dean's eyes and the way they lit up from the joy of dancing with him.
Sammy was over with cleaning up but decided to give his brother and the angel this one moment of peace. They all deserved a break once in a while.
