Tephernia ducked by the side of the sofa.
Malavai looked over, datapad resting on a leg, "Tephernia, what are you doing?"
"Playing hide and seek,"
He smiled, "You need to find a better hiding place then, I can see you."
She huffed and ran away.
And then after a little while she came back. Tephernia pouted, and tugged on her father's trouser leg, "You're supposed to come and find me!"
"You didn't hide long enough for me to find you,"
She ran off again. Malavai chuckled.
"Tephernia, what are you doing in there?" His wife's voice cut through the silence.
"Oh, you're not meant to find me, daddy's meant to find me!"
"Oh, really?" Rayphara said as she picked her daughter up for a hug.
She placed her back down, Tephernia quickly ran past her mother and her father who was coming into the hall.
"I'm going to find somewhere really good to hide!"
Malavai and Rayphara smiled at each other.
