I don't own it.

Random plot bunny. Quick one shot. I know I should be working on Consequences, but I couldn't get this out of my head. Sorry.

Chris sat atop the Golden Gate Bridge lost in thought. His mom had just told him she never wanted to see him again. His mom. The one person who had ALWAYS stood up for him. It was bad enough when his aunts and Leo hated him, but mom.

Sure, he had done some crazy things, and had more than one scheme to fail, but his mom.

He pulled out a pocket knife from his pocket that he always kept with him. Wyatt had given him the pocket knife on his 14th birthday, hours before their mother had died. If Wyatt knew what his little brother used his gift for, he would take it back.

Wyatt loved his brother. That was how Chris knew he could be saved. No matter how evil he acted, he refused to hurt Chris in any way.

Wyatt would have hit their mom if he had heard what she had told Chris. He knew that. He knew Piper wasn't really his mom, but they were identical and it was so difficult to separate them.

He pulled up his sleeve, and looked through the old scars to find an open space. He sliced open his skin, and whispered, "Mom."

He immediately heard three loud gasps from behind him. "What are you doing?"

It was his mother's voice. Not Piper's, he knew that much. It wasn't judgmental or hateful. Her voice was loving and gentle He turned around, not hiding the tears in his eyes. "Mom?"

The spirits of the Charmed Ones were corporeal, something that Piper had demanded of the Elders, the second she knew that her son needed her. Piper walked to her son and held him tightly. She had seen the way her past self had acted, and knew he needed to know she loved him.

The only sound was Piper whispering into her son's ear, while her sisters stood watching in tears. Finally, after many minutes, Piper pulled away.

"I love you, Chris, baby. I love you so much." Chris smiled through the tears. How does she always know exactly what I need?

"I love you so much, mom."

Aunt Phoebe, not the stubborn woman from the past, but his Aunt Phoebe who had taught him how to suck up to his mother, spoke up, "Sweetie, we know you're hurting honey, and we love you a lot, but you are the only one who can save your brother, honey."

He heard his Aunt Paige next. The Aunt Paige that he could always snake money out of, not the Aunt Paige that was now running around with all the temp jobs. "You can do it, Chris. If anyone can, you can."

She walked to him slowly, and healed the most recent scar that was still bleeding on his arm. "You don't need to hurt yourself like this, you know. We don't want that, and you know your brother wouldn't want that."

Chris nodded his head. She was right. They were always right.

The charmed ones hugged their little peanut, before their short time was up. They all floated upward as if to the heavens.

As short as it was, the visit had been exactly what Chris had needed. He still was upset, but he now had the courage to face Leo, Phoebe, Paige and most importantly, Piper.

He orbed off to save his older, but now younger brother. With the help of his family, he knew he could do it.
