He was just like her and not like her at all. He was sent here on a mission to place where everyone seemed to hate her. She wanted him to be with her, but was afraid of how he'd treat her if he seen the scales that covered her body.

She looked up at the sky and realized it was getting close to the time that Naruto had promised to meet her here. She had come to the leaf village hoping that Lady Tsunade could cire her afflictions and allow her to be able to look and be like a normal human being. Naruto had been kind to her and she had learned to trust in him and his friends. He was in a way her savior from a life that promised nothing, but a cold death in which no one would remember her.

She found hope looking into Naruto's eyes and desperately wanting to be the only one who his eyes were for. She waited for him to come and realized it was a few moments after Naruto had told her he wanted to meet her. She waited longer as if she couldn't move from her spot. Naruto came up behind her and covered her eyes with a blindfold.

"You look beautiful tonight...", Naruto said and Isaribi just blushed.

"So what are we going to do then?", Isaribi asked her voice full of excitement.

"You'll see", Naruto said and then carried her bridal style to a spot among the river.

It was almost secluded here and so he set her down gently on the ground. Soft music began to float around them and he took off her blindfold. She gasped in surprise at the beautiful candlelit dinner picnic spread in front of them. She looked up at Naruto with love and admiration in her eyes. He smiled down at her and sat right next to her giving her a kiss on the cheek. Isaribi blushed a crimson red and smiled at him. They began eating their food letting the soft music wash over them.

Isaribi looked at Naruto. "This is beautiful", she said.

Naruto gazed back at her with and equally loving look. "I'm glad you enjoy this, but I have another surprsie for you".

She tilted her head to the side and looked at him puzzled. He motioned for her to put back on the blindfold and he picked her up again and jumped into the water with her still in his arms. He removed the bandages from her face and then had a shodow clone knocked him over the head so that he sank beneath the waters of the river. When he didn't come back up, she dove down into the water and got him kissing him on the way up to give him air to breathe.

She pulled him on to the shore and then pushed on his stomach to make most of the water leave his body. He coughed and sat up smiling and Isaribi smacked him across the face.

"Why would you do that? I was so worried about you", she said a little upset.

Naruto just moved away and then bent down on one knee as she stood up looking at her.

"I knew you were great the first time you saved me and I know that your perfect because you did everything to save me again. I love you Isaribi and I don't care if you ever get cured from your problem, because I will love you regardless.", Naruto said and showed her the water lily ring. "Will you marry me, Isaribi?"

She looked at him and smiled. "Of course I will Naruto", and she let him place the ring on her finger.

"Now we will be happy together forever", Naruto said and then he kissed Isaribi in the moonlight.
