A/N: Well here it is my first fan fiction. This was originally intended to be an X-men fic bu i fit better with Wicked. Its GlindaxFiyero so if you don't like, turn back now! Enjoy~ Based it the Musicalverse with references to the book.

Disclaimer: I in no way own anything to do with Wicked other than the play bill and all the other crap I blew the better part of one hundred something dollars on (totally worth it :D)

He hated winter, too damn cold. And yet he loved it at the same time. Winter meant pilling every blanket in the house on top of the bed. Winter meant holding her close to him.

So there they lay, her petite body molding perfectly against his. His arms wrapped around her gently. The comforter pulled up to her chin, his head light resting on hers. The scent of her hair was intoxicating to his humble senses. He would miss this.

He had already decided long ago that if Elphie came back he would run off with her. But oh cruel Unnamed God, or Lurline, or whoever the hell was in charge of the supernatural world, decided to have him fall in love with the woman in his arms as well. Oh the day Elphie came back would be the worst day of his life.

Oh yes, some force beyond his power of understanding was playing with Fiyero, giving him desires for two completely different women. Perhaps that was the reason he loved them both. They were perfect specimen of opposite ends of the spectrum. Elphaba the cold, green, academic, atheist. Glinda the warm, pink, sociable- come to think of it Fiyero didn't really know if Glinda was unionist or pagan. Hell, for all he knew she could have been as atheist as Elphie, just with enough sense not to talk about her views in front of religious zealots like Nessarose.

He pondered this few a little bit longer before giving "I really need to stop thinking." he grumbled quietly to himself. "I agree, you scare me when you do. Then again, you look really cute when you think." He looked down to see Glinda's eyes looking up at him and one of the cutest smiles he had ever seen on her lips.

"So how long have you been awake?" He asked with a yawn smiling back down at her.

"Oh a few clock ticks or so." She snuggled up closer to him as he let out a yawn.

"Well we should probably be getting some rest. We have that… that one thing with 'Horrible Morrible' in the morning. You wouldn't want all of Oz to see you with bags under your eyes." He kissed the top of her head.

The pair slowly began to drift off. Fiyero's eyes were comfortably resting when Glinda lightly tugged on his night shirt. "Fiyero?" He opened one of his eyes "Do you love me?" She looked up at him with those clear, sparkling sapphires. They were the eyes you can't lie to, no matter how hard you try. He sighed and opened his other eye. They sat there like that for a moment just staring at each other. "Well?"

"Of course." It wasn't a lie. He truly loved her, he just loved Elphie as well. He kissed her temple again causing Glinda to give a groan of disappointment. He chuckled "I take it you're going to be a little greedy tonight."

She gave him a sly smirk. "Maybe." She said in a slight sing-song voice.

He tilted her chin up towards him and kissed her passionately. She hugged herself closer to him, trying to deepen the kiss. He gently caressed her golden hair reveling in its silky feel between his fingers. When they finally broke apart for air they spent another moment or two looking intently into each other's eyes.

"So how about that sleep?"

She yawned, a bit louder the intended, then let out a small giggle "That sounds good right now."

And so they fell asleep like that, holding each other close. Yeah, he would miss this.
