The 'F' Word
Three year old Edward Elric peaked into his father's study. He was always in there, and even though his mother told him "not to bother his daddy because he was doing important work" the little toddler was curious and rather bored that his brother was taking a nap so he couldn't play with him. The door was always cracked open so he could stick his head and see what was going on without being noticed.
His father sighed and put his pen down. He stood up as if he meant to get up for something, but accidentally hit part of his leg on part of the desk. Now this must've hurt quite a lot because he said am word that little Ed hadn't heard before and that should not be said in front of any child. Seeing that his father might see him he quietly went to his room so he wouldn't be caught. On his way down the hall he thought about that word his father said. He wondered why exactly he said that word, and why he hadn't heard it before.
A few days later the Elric family was in the kitchen. Ed wanted to prove that he was a "big boy" now so he was helping his mother with the dishes. However he accidentally dropped one that hit the floor and shattered into pieces.
"Fuck!"
Now that got the room very quiet. Ed looked up, and both of his parents eyes were on him.
"Ed…Don't say that word" said his mother.
"Why not? Daddy said it. Daddy said Fuck"
Trisha looked towards her husband who had both an appaled and ashamed look on his face.
"Well daddy didn't mean to mean to say that sweetie. That's a bad word you shouldn't say"
"DADDY SAID A BAD WORD ?!"
Ed was a bit shocked that his father did this, and he gave him a shocked look.
"Yes but daddy didn't mean to so don't repeat it"
"Ok"
Then Ed walked out off the kitchen so his mommy could clean up the glass. Both parents were glad that that little conversation was over, but that was before their two year old son Alphonse came in the room.
"Mommy what's fuck mean?"
Now that was an interesting conversation, but that's not part of this story.
Even though both parents thought their kids that certain words were bad, they were still kids, and kids repeat what they here so of course Ed was bound to go around saying "Daddy said fuck!" and that led to his bad choice of language when he got older. And to this day, Hoenheim regrets saying that one little word...
Author's Notes
Okay, I guess I should explain the orgin of the story. You see when my sister was two her dad accidentally said the 'F' word, which led to her saying "Daddy says fuck!" and me asked "Mommy what's fuck mean?" Now I was only seven so I don't really remember part of the conversation except for not saying that word in front of people especially grandma. So yeah… I hope you guys like it, I accept criticism but no flames and please review ^_^
