Specter cringed his fist in complete anger as the hologram of the world showed another broadcasting station had been destroyed by the twin pair of Kei and Yumi. They were quickly making his faith in the Freaky Monkey Five and his plan fade.
"Where in the hell is pink?" Specter asked aloud, shifting his legs as one was falling asleep from being tucked under the other. "Tomoki! Has Pink returned yet?" Specter turned his attention to his tall, human assistant; Doctor Tomoki shook his head, worried about his boss's reaction to his short answer "No, not yet."
Specter held back the urge to yell, scream, curse, and possibly smash the controls to the simulator. "Where could she have run off to!?"
Monkey Pink's form materialized out of a pink ball of energy on Eversummer island, planting her fists in the sand as she let out a demonic screech in rage.
"Those brats ruined my chance to star!" She spat, smashing her hands into the sand again before standing up with her face contorted into a dark demonic glare. "How dare they! I was doing nothing wrong! I was singing! They came in and ruined everything!" She continued, breaking down into a crying mess. A few monkeys that the twins had not yet captured noticed one of their commanders and quietly came out of hiding, trying to offer some form of comfort. "Get away from me!" She yelled desperately, sobbing through her hands which she was using to hide her face.
The monkeys knew better than to ignore Pink's request, however, they'd feel too guiltily to leave her alone and thus stayed with her while she finished her episode.
"What am I going to do with that girl?" Specter asked himself as he paced down the hallway, taking a break from idly watching the hologram in his throne. His legs felt like noodles! The albino really did need to walk more. Resting against the wall, he brushed his long white hair back in anxiety and slipped to the floor, hugging his knees.
"At this rate, it's only a matter of time until the humans capture me. My forces are all idiots and even this human has yet to prove his worth. God I cannot fail this time." He silently pouted, standing back up and brushing himself off.
"The next member they face will be Red. Surely he can beat them!" Specter self assured, walking back into the control room now that his legs had woken up.
This will be just a short story concerning the background of Pink after she escaped capture and her releasing Specter and the others later on. Nothing too big or fancy. Though, it's been a long time since I wrote Ape Escape and figured I'd give it another go!

It's most likely not gonna be finished guys, and it's no one's fault. The idea for it kind of just... Burnt out. Maybe one day I'll finish it, or put some explanation somewhere as to how it ended, just for you guys.
