Title: I Thought That We Would Just Be Friends.
Disclaimer: I don't own any of these characters. They are only based on the characters from 'Gilmore Girls'.
Rating: The current rating of the story is PG13 but It could become R in the future depending on how the story goes, I'm not sure yet.
Ok, thanks for taking the time to read this story. This is my first fan fiction so bear with me if things don't get off to a great start. So far they story is about the relationship between Jess and Rory. It starts off about 1 months after the car accident where Rory Breaks her arm. Ok so here's the first chapter. Please read it and let me know what you think. Oh, and if you have any ideas or requests for future chapters let me know.
Thanx Jessica =0)
********************************************************************* Rory sat on the couch in the living room watching the TV. It was 7:30pm on Friday night, her and her mom were supposed to have a movie night but she had to go to the inn after an unexpected phone call from Sookie. When she asked her mom what had happened she had simply replied with "Sookie and pasta" that was all she had to say. Rory didn't need to know anymore. She was starting to wish she hadn't let her mom talk her out of the dinner with the grand parents, at least then she would have something to do.
Ring ring, Ring ring
Ah, she knew somebody loved her. She jumped of the couch and ran to answer the phone. Mid way to get the phone she realised she was running and stopped. 'Could I get anymore pathetic' she thought to herself before walking the rest of the way and picking up the phone.
"Hello"
"Hey, it's mom"
"Oh..."
"Rory, I'm hurt. Is that anyway to greet your mother. The one who gave you life.not to mention countless pairs of shoes?"
"Sorry.I thought it might have been Lane or Dean"
"No such luck kido"
"Mom I'm gonna let that one slide, but the next time you call me kido I will not be responsibly for my actions."
"Sorry, the point of my phone."
"Oooo, there's a point. I love it when there's a point to something you say it makes it interesting."
"Hey!"
"Sorry, you were saying.a point"
"Oh yeah. Sookies going to need me here longer than I thought so looks like well have to post phone movies night till tomorrow."
"That's ok. I'm kinda tired anyway. I might just go get something to eat from Luke's then have an early night."
"Ok hon, I'll see you when I get home"
"Bye"
Rory hung up the phone and walked into her bedroom to change out of her pyjamas so she could go to Luke's. She then walked out the front door and followed the all to familiar path to Luke's.
As she was walking she thought to herself. I wonder if Jess' home. Over the past month they had become quite close friends. After the accident the whole town blamed Jess, but really it wasn't his fault. She tried to tell people but they wouldn't listen. So she decided that maybe if she was friends with him the town would see that she didn't blame him so neither would they. Unfortunately it didn't work too well, but on the plus side her and Jess were friends which was surprisingly.great. As she neared the diner she could see Jess taking an order from a lady sitting at a table. She smiled to herself. She could see the way he was getting inpatient, she must have been taking a long time to make up her mind. She finally made it too the door and let herself in.
